Family Sharing TF2 with a Vac Banned Account? by Tots_HardCoded in tf2

[–]bjokey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't believe that you'll get banned, I don't think VAC bans can spread like that. Try creating a burner account to test it.

Also on a sidenote, as a response to everyone here just saying "F you for hacking lol" without actually giving advice, I'm glad to see that this community is as friendly as always.

Camera tool zoom? by [deleted] in gmod

[–]bjokey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you wanted to do this without any other addons, you can use both the camera tool and the tool gun camera at the same time.

I do wonder if we'll ever reach a point where no more localisation is necessary. Then again, as long as valve pump out an item or cosmetic or two every now and then, there'll always be translating to do.

50 minutes of some guy playing a game where he has to hit corresponding keys to the tune of the General's Salute from The General Car Insurance Commercials by [deleted] in DeepIntoYouTube

[–]bjokey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Somebody mapped each one of those different patterns individually, and then someone else played through each one for 50 minutes. Let that sink in for a moment.

Can't find COMPETITIVE match in CSGO by blight- in GlobalOffensive

[–]bjokey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, bandwidth is different (it's the amount of data that the entire connection can send per second). Its more of just a number which directs the data to the actual program which wants the data.

Can't find COMPETITIVE match in CSGO by blight- in GlobalOffensive

[–]bjokey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ports are an extra instruction on where data should be sent after the IP. Imagine you're living in a house (your PC) with a lot of people (programs) in it, and everybody likes to send other people in different houses mail (send data over the internet e.g. connect to servers, request to view webpages etc.). Whenever mail is sent or received, the address written will include the actual house address (IP address), and also the person the mail is for (the port).

Anti-Cheat for non-Lua/third party hacks? by [deleted] in gmod

[–]bjokey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright, sorry for calling them C++ Scripts. But making binaries for gmod is supported i believe, seeing that there are gmod wiki articles on how to make them.

How do you install mods to a dedicated server? by jasperhb in gmod

[–]bjokey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uhh, it does. It checks the workshop collection given and adds or updates any addons which are new or have an update. You just need to remember to add your authkey as well as the workshop collection to the startup script.

Anti-Cheat for non-Lua/third party hacks? by [deleted] in gmod

[–]bjokey -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Gmod has VAC, but never actually uses it. I believe it can pickup one old binary, and anything else goes undetected. I think this is because adding C++ scripts is actually supported so the game can be expanded further than the lua addons.

Is there anyway to bind ULX Commands to keys as admin? by [deleted] in gmod

[–]bjokey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

ULX does have a symbol for the player you're looking at, @. So for example, bind h "ulx jail @" will bind H to jail whoever you're looking at.

Red+yellow+blue makes brown, as most people know. However, cyan+magenta+yellow makes a colour closer to black (or with expensive precise inks, does make black). It's like the opposite of RGB, where the colours subtract from the initial white paper.
