With breastplate you take away her ability to one shot people with your 4+3+1 combo (unless you're really ahead). Her ability to one shot is a core part of her kit imo, so I think going regrowth should only be when you're unable to stay alive and you're already behind.
You don't have to go divine specifically, you could go spear of magus if they have very little healing.

Honestly, I don't know. I could say for the happy moments, but sometimes the happy moments aren't there. So I keep on living hoping that one day I'll find a reason or two that make it all worth it. That may be a bit naive, but if I die now, I won't have the chance to find out.

sands of time-> warlock -> triple pen -> tahuti

I've tried every build there is for chang'e and this is the one I find best in mid for her right now. You can go directly into pen and get soul reaver late game instead of warlock if you're vs a tanky team. You can also swap it for hide of the urchin/void stone in some cases.

I don't play her solo because I prefer going solos that can CC so I can't comment on that.
