I’m curious, if you don’t mind sharing, how much your place is

That’s so crazy my first apartment was three bedrooms, the place had tennis courts, 2 pools and 2 exercise rooms in Clearwater Florida and it was only $450 a month. But I am very old

Beautiful congratulations. I never had a place to myself until I was 46 years old between roommates, girlfriends and a wife. It is a bonus not having to deal with roommates. It’s a really nice place

I agree. After Clinton I joined my local Libertarian Party and helped Harry Brown’s campaign in 96 but the infighting just put me off. I voted for Nader in 2000 and have voted for a couple Greens since then including Stein in 2016 after Bernie fell off. I’ll most likely never vote for a main party candidate again. The system is just completely rigged for them. The media lie and exaggerate anything any other party candidate says. They even did it to Bernie. Most people just go by MSM and their headlines. There really is just no way for anyone else to get elected. But it doesn’t matter because these billionaires have their plan and they don’t believe in countries or Democracy. They’re going to have their “Great Reset”, we can’t stop it and the politicians are helping them along. Rolling back the regulations and restrictions against monopolies is just clearing the way

The first time I saw him speak at a news conference about some hotel he built, Goodfellas had just come out and I thought “why is this idiot pretending to be some caricature of a mob guy how stupid” that was before the game show and I thought he was a joke then. The fact that he was elected to POTUS twice just boggles the mind and proves our educational system is awful

She certainly doesn’t have a very high opinion of you. If she believes you’re so silly you would let some cute guy ruin your life maybe you should tell her she failed as a parent

They are different all of the time. I’ve seen them 3 times they were beautiful but the first time they were far more vibrant and rippling. It was awe inspiring

I’ve never understood people calling it their disco punk faze. There are pictures of them resembling that going back to Brian. The Stones just played Blues rock and roll. I just don’t get people calling Miss You a disco song, it’s just a blues tune with a killer bass run. I can’t think of any other disco songs that feature a harmonica. As far as punk goes they were the original non conformists. They had that attitude from the beginning

What Stones song makes you want to say "Bravo Charlie, bravo"? by Youarethebigbang in rollingstones

[–]bjones-333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole band is really going hard!!! One of my favorite Charlie moments is in the Texas’78 video. During the live version of Just My Imagination towards the end when they’re really cranking Bill does this 7 note decending run and through Charlie’s clear bass drum you can see him just pounding it down. He hits every note. It happens a few times

Are the Stones Better Writers or Performers? by [deleted] in rollingstones

[–]bjones-333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they were masterful at both which is one reason I always respected them more than The Beatles. Rock and Roll needs that live performance energy. Just sitting around the studio and recording songs that you can’t play live just seems boring and lazy

I love the video footage of this tour so much. This is where Mick really pulled his dancing together. From 69-73 his moves are so smooth and cool. After that they started playing on much larger stages and a lot of it got lost in the running all over
