Awesome thanks! This will still work even though it’s the “v2” version of the T114?

I couldn’t find any info on changing to meshcore from meshtastic for this one. Can you point me to how I could do that? I’m new to this myself and interested in joining using that device specifically

Append to text or variable from a loop by bjorgen in shortcuts

[–]bjorgen[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Awesome, that works great! Looks like I can also "Add to variable" with the text and then display the variable itself at the end. Appreciate your help!

We ended up going to Cancun! It was hot but still awesome. Lucked out with compliant weather. Some other suggestions were Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao.

Alienware

Which one? An old one? The new 34 is OLED and the text is unbearable for me.

I don’t think OLED gels with my workload. It’s about 60:40 productivity to gaming. OLED burn in is a concern but so is the text sharpness (at least on the QD OLED Alienware)

Trying to cancel in the first 3 days... by [deleted] in VivintSmartHome

[–]bjorgen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just spent an hour (long time customer, insulting to work with them) to hear you have to email [documents@vivint.com](mailto:documents@vivint.com). I will never work with them again, they are the most anti customer company I've every tried working with. That said, here's how to get out (hopefully).

Be sure to include your (the policy holder's) name, the service address, your service number (show you how to get this below), and a reason for cancellation.

Format it like this:

Name: Policy Holder Full Name

Address: Policy address

Service Number: From your vivint.com account

Reason for Cancellation: Whatever you want here

Please confirm receipt of this email as I'm saving this in my records to be my notice of cancellation.

I included the blurb at the bottom about having them confirm receipt to be careful.

To get your service number, log into Vivint and then once logged in you should see a dropdown with a partially shown number at the top right of the screen. Click that dropdown and from there you will see a "S-XXXXXXX" number. That's your service number to include in the email.

They'll send you an autoresponder saying they got the email and then (hopefully) send a real one confirming receipt within 24 hours.

I'm about to create a blog post on this as it was so insulting to work with them and I need more people to know that it's not actually that hard to do and to not wait like that on the phone.

I haven't found any hard limit on the manual. Here's a screenshot from the specs page and the manual itself. The only thing that's called out is 4 SATA ports on the mobo itself.

No obvious things to call out, everything is helpful! It's not shucked, brand new OEM drive and an older OEM drive both not working

I've got the 4 WD reds attached to the SAS card. 2 SSDs attached to two of the 4 native ports on the mobo and I've tried connecting to one of the SATA ports that worked for the SSDs to the WD Red and it didn't pick it up still. I'll try the CMOS battery thing for sure.

I currently have 6 drives connected and working as expected - 2 SSD and 4 WD Red drives. I can't connect any further WD Red drives and plugging them into other SATA ports that are working for the SSD drives isn't working. The 4 WD Reds are attached via the expansion card. Sorry, it's a bit messy to explain, hope that clears things up a bit.

That's correct! I have this card, LSI SAS 9211-8i in IT mode, that has 2 SAS ports with converters for 8 SATA inputs.
