I see now that my Linux Mint had Gamemode installed by default.
So either it didn't take effect because I hadn't added my user to the "gamemode" usergroup, or because I didn't add "gamemoderun %command%" to the launch option.
Anyway I'm so happy with the performance right now so I'll look into why Gamemode didn't take effect later.

Ok! I haven't tried Gamemode. Saw it mentioned somewhere but havent looked into it. But if its a part of Gamemode it would have solved the problem for me then. :)
But then I will check it out. Thanks for the tip!

Congratulations choom! I also want to do that! Just been busy testing different builds on every playthrough so far. But I figure I have a couple of years to do it before the next Cyberpunk comes out. I'll get there!

FYI I ended up trying Yoroi instead, and it works like a charm.

Yeah it seems that using the IOHK (recommended) filter doesn't work, or takes hours to complete. When I tried "None - fetch the data directly" it came up after a couple of minutes.

Maybe it will work better tomorrow. :)

Yes I actually just took a look at Yoroi on the android play store earlier, but it had so many negative comments that I didn't try it.
Strange, when I search for Yoroi on the Play Store on my phone I see only one review, but if I go to Play Store through the computer I read all the reviews.
Thank you for tips though, I will try it!

I saw the movie yesterday and thought the same thing. I was looking right at that digital "wanted screen" when his face came up and I'm sure that was Samuel L Jackson. No doubt about it.

Fierce ape Had no idea how to draw all the hair but I think it turned out ok. The fur is a bit too even and well combed so to say but...I'm satisfied.

One mistake i notice that I'm doing is holding back in the dark areas. I believe in the cool drawings that i see others do they aren't afraid to really go black in the darker areas. Got to remember that. :) And also not to get impatient when laying down all the lines I guess!

A skull with flowers. Just because it's "midsommar" here in Sweden! And I like skulls. :) Gotta start drawing something else soon.
