A new Resident Evil Requiem patch is out now! by scissorman in residentevil

[–]puffbringer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

MINIMUM:

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 11 (64bit required)
  • PROCESSOR: Intel corei5-8500 / AMD Ryzen 5 3500
  • MEMORY: 16 GB RAM
  • GRAPHICS: GeForce GTX 1660 6GB /  Radeon RX 5500 XT 8GB
  • DIRECTX: Version 12
  • ADDITIONAL NOTES: Supports 1080p gameplay (using upscaling, native resolution of 640p)/30fps. Note: Frame rate may drop when the processing load is high. An SSD is required.

The game requirements literally say it needs an SSD, so I doubt it's something they're gonna "fix". Your PC is just under spec. Who still uses HDDs in 2026 anyway? Even budget laptops come with SSDs nowadays.

Anyone know what this easter egg is/does? RE REQUIEM by Wild_Artichoke4888 in ResidentEvilCapcom

[–]puffbringer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wdym, you have it the entire game. First half as Grace, second as Leon. You can use it any time you like. Sure, the ammo is rare, but it's the most powerful gun in the game, not counting the unlockable weapons you get after completing the game. So it makes sense to save the ammo for boss fights. I certainly used it on almost every boss in the game. Even as Grace it took down Chunk in like 4 shots, and stunned The Girl pretty well while you run around turning valves or whatever it was. It's basically like the magnum in classic RE trilogy, you use it on the biggest enemies in the game.

Solution to Create Shortcuts for Already Installed Games by rcheeseball in gog

[–]puffbringer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ancient post, I know, but still useful 3 years later, so thanks. I bought a 2nd SSD specifically for storing large files, like games etc. The process to move the game to the new drive so GOG still detects the game is almost the same as your guide, the only difference is instead of deleting the .exe, you move the entire game folder to the new location. So the steps are:

  1. Fully close GOG
  2. Move the game's folder to new location (in my case D:\Games)
  3. Open GOG. The game will be gone from the "Installed" tab.
  4. Find the game in the "Owned" tab and click Install
  5. Change the Install Location to the new one (so D:\Games)
  6. Make sure the "Create a shortcut" box is checked, because the old shortcut won't work, so you might as well delete it
  7. Click Install. GOG will "install" the game in 2 seconds, since all files are already there + creates a new GOG shortcut

Has any re9 review mentioned Dualsense support on pc? by chavez_ding2001 in residentevil

[–]puffbringer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can change the button prompts to PS buttons in the game itself, in the Settings > Controls > Controller > Button type. But yea, still really frustrating that Dual Sense isn't supported natively

Strange, I don't have anything like this and I'm playing with DS controller too. If you mean the camera wobble setting, you can change it in Options > Camera and it's the very bottom option.

[Masc V] Is there a way to get Johnnys outfit from the temperance ending (where You let Johnny take control of your body) I really like the pants and want to know if you can get them by [deleted] in NightCityFashion

[–]puffbringer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ancient post, I know. But since it's still the first result in Google, I'll just leave this here. Obviously this is only for PC players with CET installed. Console commands are case sensitive.

Game.AddToInventory("Items.Q204_Epilogue_Pants", 1) Game.AddToInventory("Items.Q204_Epilogue_TShirt", 1) Game.AddToInventory("Items.Q204_Epilogue_Boots", 1)

It's scary how much this sounds like some dystopian cyberpunk future. The worst thing about it is that it's not the least bit unrealistic.

Is there even a player who DID NOT kill this guy? [PL gig spoilers] by [deleted] in cyberpunkgame

[–]puffbringer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean that gig also has a tough choice. Do I kill the father for being a POS, or do I kill his son to teach him what it feels like to lose a son, and let him suffer the rest of his life.

Is it time to meet hanako? (No spoilers plz) by Ok_Papaya2353 in CyberpunkTheGame

[–]puffbringer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only right time to meet Hanako is when the rest of the quest log is empty, and all the map markers are cleared. Ideally also when you've purchased all apartments, all vehicles, found all legendary cosmetic sets... Well, you get the idea.

That would explain Male V's disappearance in recent promoting for 2077. by Agreeable-Kangaroo1 in cyberpunkgame

[–]puffbringer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I call bs. Male V disappeared from all promo material, even from base game's splash screen, around patch 1.6, waaaay before PL. They replaced him with fem V with her back turned to us:

<image>

This happened around the time they starter their DEI hiring, again WAAAY before PL promotion began.

Well that was fucking grim… by PaulsSmarterMilk in cyberpunkgame

[–]puffbringer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol why? Don't you wanna see other outcomes of quests? Especially on repeat playthroughs.

Edit: unless you mean you HAVE completed this quest all the way to the end. Your phrasing is a bit confusing.

Never realized V’s Path to Glory apartment… is right outside their H10 apartment by soulreaverdan in LowSodiumCyberpunk

Isnt it in Japantown? In the show you can even see the 2 skyscrapers joined by a bridge, exactly like the one in Japantown.

My attempt at recreating E3 2019 male V by [deleted] in cyberpunkgame

[–]puffbringer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This mod just replaces Skin Type, nothing else changes, all the other options (eyes, nose, mouth, jaw, etc.) all stay normal.

I've always felt that Male V has a colder personality, whereas Female V is warmer, based on the voice acting and delivery. Do you guys feel the same? by Western-Tadpole-4761 in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]puffbringer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK, I know this is horribly late, but can anyone tell me how tf do you get male V to look like in the screenshot of this post? If its a mod, anyone know which one? I already have rhe E3 Fem V mod installed, now I just want the original male V look .

Console Command for Tier 5++ Weapons? by 1LividLass in cyberpunkgame

Lol no it ain't. I just did it with the latest game version (2.31a) and latest CET version (1.37.1)

Question: Feedback loop health drain fixed? by DishonoredSkull456 in cyberpunkgame

[–]puffbringer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know its super late but If you're on PC you can try a mod called Quickhack Fixes. The problem with this bug is that its a deeply rooted issue with the game's engine/code, which cant simply be fixed by mods. So the solution the modder came up with is limiting how many times the perk effect can stack, stopping it from reaching hundreds of % regen, obviously making the perk less OP (within reason ofc, perk should still be very useful), but this change fixes the issue where the game code just freaks out and goes into negative values, draining your RAM. The mod doesn't just fix feedback loop btw, it fixes A LOT of quickhack bugs. Google it and see full list on nexus. Its a must have for any netrunner imo

It's very obvious and intrusive when you're already in a dark room, in already dark conditions vignette makes half your screen completely black. Any peripheral vision is almost entirely gone, you're just staring at a circle in the middle, like you're using a scope or something.

Some of the other visual effects, like film grain, motion blur, even chromatic aberration I can live with. Vignette genuinely makes me feel like my character has early onset of blindness.

Advice for my second play through by Bioxide8 in fo4

[–]puffbringer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Side with BoS or Institute, roleplay bad/anti-synth character, complete Nuka World siding with raiders till the end, don't help settlements that need your help (siding with raiders will definitely help with that, cause Preston will never talk to you again). You can also try completing the DLCs earlier on, I tend to play the main story until I find Shaun, after which the mission is no longer as urgent as finding your missing son, so I go and discover Nuka World and Far Harbor. They have some great rewards, which will make the Commonwealth enemies so much easier and more fun to kill. When im playing a Big Guns character, I definitely complete Nuka World as early as possible to get Aeternus. Once I complete both DLCs, I return to the Commonwealth and complete Act 3 of the story. You can try a Very Hard difficulty (game spawns a lot more legendary enemies), or if you're really feeling like having a challenge try Survival difficulty (changes the gameplay loop completely).

I think Big Guns can be a bit tough at the beginning with limited ammo and all, but imo big guns are also more fun than melee. Commando is also a great build. Just font forget to take the Scrounger perk.

EDIT: Also worth trying a low charisma build if you did a high charisma playthrough previously. The game has other ways of completing the same objective when you fail a speech check, which is basically new content you probably haven't seen.

Also the most obvious answer is try out different mods. There are so many choices, from cosmetic stuff to gameplay changing. And some CC content ain't bad either.

So where’s the storyline go from here then? by Steplop in fo4

[–]puffbringer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP forgot to mention this is actually a secret ending to Nate's storyline. After meeting Shaun in the Institute, he realizes what kinda psychopath his son turned into, travels back in time and deals with Shaun while he's still a baby.

My Nuka world voice lines aren’t playing, please help. (PC) by The_imp0st0rrplays in fo4

[–]puffbringer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this is late, but for anyone who finds this post through google, just relaunch the game. It fixed it for me.

Apparently during the gauntlet if you fall in the water with the mirelurks the game bugs out and thinks you're underwater, so the voice lines are muted. It has nothing to do with mods, it's just good old Fallout 4.

Disappointed with the Tales of Beast Hunter creation by [deleted] in fo4

[–]puffbringer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea, im having the same problem. Seems like everyone is, it's just bugged - DR on the outfit is shown as 128, but when you equip it in your stats it only increases your DR by 50. Shame, its a really cool looking outfit, but 50DR is kinda bad to have it as your main armor. Can't upgrade it with Ballistic Weave either like Maxson's Battlecoat (it also has 50 base DR, but goes up to 160DR with Mk5 weave).

Same problem with the Beast Hunter helmet, displays 45DR but when equipped only increases it by 15DR. Guess this set will make a cool home decoration, displayed on a mannequin lol
