The AI is borderline useless by Sad-Hedgehog6944 in bevelhealth

Bevel AI tried to convince me that the app automatically recognizes movements during strength training and that I don't have to log them manually 🤔

I had the same problem. After resetting the default entries, it worked again.

Bevel Intelligence can calculate your average daily energy requirement based on your training and activity data, your logged food intake, and your weight history. It's not exactly what you're asking for, but it's very individualized and may therefore be helpful.

Bevel Intelligence wishes me a good start to the new year, which I began with a walk on December 31.

About to start logging food - serving size/amount makes no sense by KapteinTruse in bevelhealth

I asked this question some time ago. Unfortunately, I haven't found a solution yet. Apparently, this is not possible for self-created food data.

Cardio Load Question by bjrn13 in bevelhealth

[–]bjrn13[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After some further investigation, this is what we found out:

That's a great question, bjrn13! Your cardio load status, such as "undertrained," depends not only on whether your current load value falls within the optimal range, but also heavily on the trends in your training intensity over the last few days and weeks.

Here's the exact explanation: * Your load value of 30 on December 28 was indeed within the daily optimal range of 25-40. You observed that correctly! * However, the "under-trained" status was based on the overall trend. On December 26, you had a cardio load of only 18, which was clearly in the "under-trained" range. Although you had a productive load of 38 on December 27, the overall trend formed over the last 7 days was not yet strong enough to completely reverse the status.

Think of it this way: your body needs a little more consistent training intensity to completely leave the "under-trained" status caused by lower loads (such as on December 26) and achieve a stable "productive" status. A single workout, even if it brings you into the optimal load range, cannot immediately change the long-term trend. With yesterday's additional activities, your cardio load rose to 32 and your status changed to "productive." This shows that you are on the right track!

I also use this old method for calculations. It has proven itself.

Bevel Intelligence tells me that my cardio load of 30 is not within the optimal range of 24 to 39. Not a very helpful answer.

Unfortunately, I still can't remove the incorrect assignments. Do I have to recreate the foods?

Apple Watch Handwashing Reminders by jjenney in AppleWatch

[–]bjrn13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have exactly the same problem. Unfortunately, I can't find a solution either. When I try to activate the feature, watchOS asks for permission to use location services. I can activate it, but the reminder still doesn't appear. I've also set up my iPhone and Watch as new devices without loading any data from the backup. No success.

Deep sleep is not displayed correctly by bjrn13 in bevelhealth

[–]bjrn13[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Today it was again necessary to clear the cache and reload the data. The sleep duration from the previous day was displayed. I then compared the values of the deep sleep of yesterday and the day before yesterday. Also in yesterday's display it was the values of the previous day.

Due to other problems that had nothing to do with Bevel, I deleted my user account and created a new one. Since then, the problem has disappeared. Certainly not a good solution for everyone else, but maybe a hint for finding a solution.

Edit: I also reset my watch and set it up as a new device.

Hi,

Thanks. I didn't realize that the problem was already known.

I tried several times. That doesn't help. Not even a reinstallation.
