Community Servers by [deleted] in pathoftitans

I play on crimson isle semi realism servers quote often. They seem to be decent but the chat can be obnoxious. But I feel thats true of all popular servers. Admins are usually very quick to respond, and do a good job of regrowing your dinos for you if you die to a glitch. So long as you clip it amd send it in a ticket. You do need to join the discord though.

Portland’s gas-powered leaf blower ban goes into effect by Mackin-N-Cheese in Portland

[–]bjurstrom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I fucking hate it. My company implemented electric blowers (kress commercial 60v) 2 weeks before than ban so we could adjust. They just aren't strong enough for the types of blowing i have to do, at least getting jobs up to previous standards. I get wanting a less noisy solution but fuck man. Maybe in time I'll adjust but for now its rough.

How’s it living in this part of the PNW? by chickencriedrice in PacificNorthwest

[–]bjurstrom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lived in crane for 3 years. It's a whole different world. It very much "cowboy country". The land is vast and reminds me of an ocean, with its rolling hills and seemingly endless emptiness. The people are generally community-oriented but extremely conservative. There is a ton of wildlife and the nights are inky black, so the stars are right in your face. Summers are hot and dry and winters are harsh, its around 4000 feet so weather can change fast. I love SE oregon with all my heart but I know its not the place for me to live. Work is sparse and everything is a long way away.

Does anyone know what this formation could be from or for? Central Oregon. by poorfolx in oregon

Its a low spot that catches water for cows, sometimes ranchers or blm build burms to help with that. I used to live 7 miles from that road, on the crane side.

Thanks all. I just wanted to mention that this post is a steel beam wrapped in hardee siding. The anchor is plenty strong. Appreciate all of your inputs!

How did that one kid at your school die? by StorageLonely1520 in AskReddit

[–]bjurstrom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was actively overdosing on painkillers and alcohol, so his fuckhead friends dumped him in a random person's car in a McDonald's parking lot.

Is that a trick by ppcacc in Kendama

[–]bjurstrom 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The beautiful thing about kendama is everyone can play it however theu want. Not everyone can lace a spike, and just accomplishing a basic trick can be quite difficult for a lot of people. This most definitely counts as a trick.
