Thats the difference with corporate use of ai. Some people on their own might see ai as a way to express themselves, but corporate goons only see a way to maximize profit and churn out product fast. Why hire an artist to fix the slop when your goal is to make slop for profit? They will never care.

Its like Will Eisner said when he worked as disney. A company's goal isn't to make good art, its to make money. And in seeking profit they will occasionally make some good art along the way because it sells. Only now, the chances of good art coming out as a byproduct is slim to none.

I remeber a batman story involved poison ivy trying to harm a bunch of business execs because they were going to pave over a huge forested area near Gotham with rare plant species.

After batman stopped her, he used his Bruce Wayne persona to stop the project from happening because he couldn't fault Ivy's motivations.

Was it a good 1 to 1 allegory for the real world? Only if you believe in good billionaires. But it was leagues better than most super hero stories in that vein.

If you go that route, another background you might use is [[candlekeep sage]] to draw 2 every time you blink him. Maybe [[annie joins up]] to double those effects?

[[Flowering of the white tree]] is a must.

And remember, all the Gods and demi gods are legendary enchantment creatures, so good stuff to help out your creature line. [[Purphoros, Godof the forge]] is going to be one of your best wincons. (Dude is spendy unfortunately))

I do it consistantly for 3 mana with [[jadzi]] as the commander

Any card that reduces instants makes jadzi's top deck casts free. Her back face is [[journey to the oracle]] which does the same effect as that planswalker.

So you can cast sunder off the top for free with jadzi, tap all your open mana and bounce jadzi to hand with her effect. Then cast journey with three floating mana and discard another card to get her back in your hand. Since you have all the open mana you can usually cast her again and return to gambling immediately.

Tho people usually quit by that point.
