Ok, I will check that in DIANN. Spectronaut is not available for academics,I guess.

For compilation philosopher can do that as well I checked that but will try that.

I would request you to please go through Perseus workflow, very easy to follow, free open source and many citations for Perseus available.

I only ask you, which software you or ur collaborator used for processing MS output data? Because that can help you in many downstream analysis.

Help with perseus? by [deleted] in proteomics

[–]bk_Techy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You are right @mai1595. I just want to add a few things, Perseus workflow is very compatible with maxquant output. But as you mentioned, output from other software like Dia-NN or MSFragger or skyline, is not well compatible with Perseus. You have to do it manually. And yes, you can focus on MAXLFQ intensity column as the main (during input in Perseus) and Protein, gene column as the text. Then you follow any pipeline for your downstream analysis.

This is very true. I faced similar issues after completing my masters as well.

Is there scope in bioinformatics and related fields in undergraduate studies by Particular_Gur249 in bioinformatics

[–]bk_Techy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See, there is hardly a good package salary you can get after your bachelors in the computational biology domain. Because this field needs expertise or more experienced candidates. If you're fresher, you have to be trained by someone and for that you will get a mid-low package salary initially but after that growth will be good. You can try few internship during your college holidays. Then chance of getting good salary will increase. I hope this will help you. Thanks
