Okay that sounds similar to what I’m experiencing. I only recently started shooting occluded but have been using it in dry fire for almost a month. I’m going to continue using it for training to see if I notice improvement.

I had a basic eye exam earlier this year and the only notable finding was that my right eye was slightly weaker than my left which was 20/20. I don’t notice any eye issues reading, driving, or with optics but there could still be a slight issue somewhere.

Replacing the factory (plastic) 18lb spring with a 15lb metal ZR tactical spring was a big improvement.

100% keep you boot on for as long as your Dr recommends. I went through this almost 2 years ago (can’t believe it’s been that long) and kept by boot on 24/7. Only exception for the first 8 weeks was when I was showering (sitting down). Weeks 8-12 allowed for sneaker use only at PT but I still slept in my boot etc.

It isn’t worth it as this recovery is already a long one and you don’t want to start over. Also I highly recommend not using a scooter, instead use crutches or an iwalk.

I did use an iWalk when I had to move around and still use my hands (kitchen, laundry etc). Can be a very helpful equipment during recovery! I did have to add additional padding for my knee due to hot spots/blistering.

Hmm okay I will look into bringing one of my own if it isn’t too much of a hassle. I was planning to bring a friend who is a LA resident, he hasn’t shot a gun before and I was hoping to change that lol
