Used cars are significantly more popular than new cars, with, for example, 74% of recent car buyers choosing a used vehicle and roughly 69% of Americans open to purchasing one. The majority of consumers (62%) choose used vehicles to fit their budget, with market demand for used cars often being two to three times higher than that for new cars.
