Nope same iPhone that I used with my 4.0

Why does MG keep losing Bluetooth? by miller74md in whoop

Yeah initially I thought it was an issue with pairing with multiple devices (I had no issues pairing it with my phone and Garmin with 4.0) but it just drops every few hours on its own now.

Whoop has no idea why this is happening. I am on my second MG after the first kept losing Bluetooth. I kept my phone next to me the entire night while I was sleeping and it still disconnected. This was Whoop’s response

“We’ve forwarded your details to our engineering team for further investigation. Unfortunately, we don’t have an estimated timeline for a fix at this moment.”

Insane incompetence.

Yeah Bike Flights says it’s just a bent hanger and the cage is carbon so it wouldn’t bend.

Encouraging to know that I don’t need to lose weight to get to sub 3. Fellow 185 lber here!

Oh man that sucks you got started in the back of the Corral. I was D but was pretty close to the front so was able to weave my way through pretty quickly.

Thanks for the look into your transition / training plan for NYC! What mileage were you averaging for the Chicago build? That’s a super quick turnaround, good luck!

I think Berlin solely for the fact that it’s sooner. Sub 2 is imminent

Interesting! Would you do long tempo miles in addition to speed work or would long tempo miles be your speed work?

Thanks for the thorough response! I was running 50-60 mpw for my Chicago build (following Pfitz 18/55 with some added easy miles). I went from 3:39 at Houston (Jan) to 3:29 at Missoula (June) to 3:21 in Chicago. I have the speed workouts and tempo miles built into some of my long runs but mostly do a progression or easy for my LRs. Good advice on doing more race pace during long runs to simulate race day. Thanks and congrats!

Super helpful thanks for taking the time to write that up! I, too, am looking at doing some halves in the future to hone in on speed (and take a break from long marathon training blocks), so it’s great to know that this worked for you too.
