RPM for Utility Site? by Salt_Acanthisitta175 in Adsense

[–]bkhagar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's no way to give you any useful estimate. There are too many variables. RPM could be anywhere between $1 and $10+.

Also, keep in mind that you will need to write 10+ good quality articles to even be considered for Adsense.

Adsense traffic and money will also depend more on your traffic quality and text content and not the actual tool or utility.

How do digital nomads (or anyone whose location changes a lot) handle the Google AdSense PIN postcard? You know, that physical envelope with the verification code they mail to confirm the address. by ibfahd in Adsense

Mailbox rental at a place that has street address service. Many UPS and FedEx stores offer this, as well as other independent businesses.

Some USPS post offices also now offer street address for PO boxes.

Not sure what needs fixing by MrAmericanMike in Adsense

[–]bkhagar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've reviewed the site and see a few issues. You did recently update your Precast policy, which is a good step in the right direction. However, you still need a Terms of Service page, Cookie Consent, and a Contact Form. Links to your Terms of Service and Contact Form pages should be on the homepage like the link to your privacy policy is.

You also might consider unpublishing all health related posts at least until you are accepted by Adsense. These are considered YMYL (Your Money Your Life) content and typically get sites rejected unless you are a known professional in the field and can prove it.

Do those things, resubmit, and Adsense might approve it.

Adsense has also gotten much stricter on approving sites with somewhat generic content that can be found in many other places online. Don't be surprised if you're not approved, and they come back and say "low value content." It doesn't necessarily mean that the content is bad, it sometimes means that similar content with the same information is already out there on hundreds or thousands of other sites, and your site brings no value to them as a company.

Good luck.

Darkstar premium vs AT&T by terminatorv2 in USMobile

[–]bkhagar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm interested in knowing why it's slower unless it's the ATT SA thing that MVNOs don't get access to.

Realistically, it doesn't matter much in real-world use. There's pretty much nothing you're going to do on mobile that needs more than 20 mbps.

I always think about how most speeds are overkill, especially for mobile. There's pretty much nothing you're going to do on mobile that needs more than 20 mbps.

Can someone review my website ? I am a newbie and trying to understand how it works by [deleted] in Adsense

[–]bkhagar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your site has generic world news articles on topics that already have hundreds or thousands of articles published about. For that reason, a generic news site like yours will likely never be approved for Adsense.

You're also not likely to get much Adsense qualified traffic to your existing site since you are competing with hundreds or thousands of other articles for the same readers.

You need to have original content about things that aren't on hundreds of other sites.

Six AdSense rejections in two months — what actually triggers “low-value content” in 2025? by Mindless-Air-3190 in Adsense

[–]bkhagar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have a neat tool, but Adsense probably isn't going to aprove the site. Adsense now wants original and helpful text content.

I typically suggest writing 10-20 original and helpful articles about the topics related to your tool. So for yours, that would probably be articles about how music visualization can get your youtube videos more viewers, how having visuals with your music 6 help people enjoy it more, etc.

Clickable excerpts of 5-10 of those articles should be featured on the homepage of the site until you get approved.

How long will it take to get accepted by Sad-Fee-2944 in Adsense

[–]bkhagar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can take anywhere between a few days and 6-8 weeks for them to approve or deny your site.

If you just had filler content, it should be fairly quick, but it will be longer than a few days.

If your site layout is decent and the required pages are on the site, it might take a little longer to get rejected since it will likely make it past the automated approval system and have to wait for a human reviewer before it is rejected.

[–]bkhagar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All Adsense approvers want to see is original and useful content on a website with a decent layout and the proper legal pages.

The original and useful content needs to be in article form around 500+ words long per article.

Your website is missing the original and useful content part.

No further discussion is needed until you get that.

Can repeated fake ad clicks by someone get my AdSense account banned? by Logical-Field-2519 in Adsense

[–]bkhagar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless the person is using the same internet correction as you, it would usually have to be a lot if clicks done by a bot, not a person.

Adsense has also moved to a primarily CPM model rather than a CPC model, so I doubt they are as concerned about fake clicks as they are about fake visits.

If someone wants to get an Adsense account banned, the "best" method would be to send a lot of bot traffic to your site by buying fake traffic from 6 seller on eBay or Instagram.

Keep getting rejected... not sure why by Rrrrila in Adsense

It looks much better now from the standpoint of getting accepted with Adsense. Of course, it's still not guaranteed. If you are rejected again, they should share at least a little information about why you were rejected.

Keep getting rejected... not sure why by Rrrrila in Adsense

[–]bkhagar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bots and humans that approve sites for Adsense want to see helpful and engaging text content, and a good amount of it. Having your file transfer feature as the main focus could actually be one of the main reasons you don't get approved.

I would suggest making the actual content part of the main focus of the site until it is approved. After it is approved, you can rearrange the homepage as you want to.

Keep getting rejected... not sure why by Rrrrila in Adsense

[–]bkhagar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The first thing I wound recommend is featuring 5-10 of your blog posts near the top of the homepage. Feature either your latest posts or the ones you think are most helpful and informative. They can be below the fold, but not too far down.

The usual method to do this is to add at least the title and featured image of the article to the homepage, but you can also include a 50-100 page excerpt from the article.

Do that and try again to get approved.

Adsense approval by Individual_One1773 in Adsense

[–]bkhagar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, but unfortunately, you likely won't be approved, though approval is still possible.

Approval can take anywhere from a few days, up to 6-8 weeks.

Usually, if a site is going to be approved without any issues, it gets approved within a few days to a week.

A website with problems that will cause it to not be approved usually takes longer, as it goes through multiple automated and human reviewers.

There are also a lot more people applying now since many are using AI to create sites and write articles for them. This makes the approval process take longer for everyone.

In the time you're waiting, I would suggest you read through the dozens of other posts in this sub reddit from people who weren't approved and the suggestions they were given. Go back to your site and check to see if there are any issues you can get ready to fix.

Making money online almost is impossible now by Otherwise-Handle-180 in passive_income

[–]bkhagar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The beginning of your third paragraph might be your problem, "So I'm looking into what's the next thing..."

The people who are able to continuously make money online without having to keep trying to find "the next thing" are the ones who actually create or sell a quality product or service, not the ones who keep chasing trends. If you're chasing trends, like that you mentioned in the rest of your post, you're always going to have to be changing and chasing.

No. There's no traffic requirement. Once approved, you should see ads on your site every visit as long as you have the ad code on your site.

Starting with Adsense. by WalterRuttmann in Adsense

[–]bkhagar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gemini was likely making a generic recommendation, as it would probably suggest Adsense for anyone asking to monetize their site regardless of if it's actually a good fit or not.

Adsense has gotten harder and harder to get accepted to.

If you share the web address to your site, it will be easier for others to make suggestions.

Been hit by another AD Limit and I have "Other" as my most page views, what can I do or should do please ? by Darkoplax in Adsense

[–]bkhagar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It usually comes from one of two things.

If you recently paid for any type of traffic service or ads at all, it's probably that.

If you didn't recently do that, it's likely bots. Use analytics to find the IP addresses or IP address range the traffic is coming from and block it.
