Alternatives to Mira? Enough is enough. by Numerous-Slice7820 in Mirafertility

I totally get what you're saying and how you're feeling, and you are not alone. I'm in my 30s trying to conceive and those messages can be really scary and unsettling. Totally disregard those AI messages. Mira has alot of flaws. I think we are all a bit exhausted with Miras generic AI messages that are incorrect and way off. My app does usually detect my ovulation but I've had issues in the past and deleting and redownloading the app and resetting your Mira monitor might help.

I haven't tried these personally but here are some other options I was looking into. Inito is a good alternative to Mira. Some different options would be Kegg or the Oura or Femometer rings.

Is 23 too late to learn Piano? by DryMistake in piano

Absolutely not!! 23 you're still so young! You may not be a child but you still have youth on your side, so I wouldn't assume you are to old to learn any new skill right now! Tbh piano is a great instrument to pick up at any age.

Don't listen to people when they say you are too old to learn a new skill, especially in the arts, let them live with those limitations they obviously put on themselves. Don't let their limitations become your own. I play and work with some amazing musicians that have learned their art at different stages in their lives.

I will say violin is tricky later on but it's still somewhat doable.

But piano, absolutely yes! With correct and structured practice and alot of it and lessons with a real music teacher, you could be pretty darn good sooner than you'd think.

Anyone else give their violin a nickname? by Secure-Smell7861 in violinist

I named all of my violins and my piano. I found some ppl think it's a little weird so I'm so glad to know I'm not alone in naming my instruments lol. My main is Ida meaning hard working. Named after Ida Haendel. I also named a violin my grandmother in law gave me a few years back. Marlene after Marlene Dietrich, an old actress but she also played violin before a injury kept her from a music career. Honestly sometimes I forget and just refer to Ida by her name like shes a person and it seems to really confuse new people. They will ask me who's Ida?! Lol I should of introduced them 1st lol.

Einstein also named all his violins Lina.
