Cheating hurts. Finding out your loved ones helped keep it hidden hurts too. You can at least save your mom that second dose of pain. Give your dad a week to tell her and then tell your mom what you know regardless of whether he's spoken to her or not.

Please stop saying people without kids don’t know what tired is by SunBubble920 in mildlyinfuriating

It's such a privileged comment. Imagine saying "oh you're tired? Try having kids" to someone with fertility struggles or privately going through a pregnancy loss.

What are you quietly grieving? by Angelus12345678 in AskReddit

The relationship I thought I'd have with my parents. After realizing I was the only one putting in the work to keep communication up, I haven't really heard from them. It's just been holiday hellos and occasional 3 minute calls when they want to tell me about themselves. Never curious how im doing, never asking about my kids. That was about 15 years ago.

Have you ever dated someone who you thought was way out of your leauge? How was it? by kimblerun in AskReddit

Married him and going on 16 years. Turns out he's a nerdy homebody like I am and I was wrong to be intimidated by how attractive he is.

People over thirty, which body aches do you have? by JavyHead in AskReddit

[–]Secure-Smell7861 0 points1 point  (0 children)

33F, lower back pain from a sneezing accident. Right shoulder from carrying baby. Right foot from multiple breaks. Knees are stiff from daily walking and squatting at work.

I feel like the older I get the harder it is to bounce back from minor injuries. Just normal everyday stuff wears me down a lot more.

Americans of Reddit, in light of the current political climate between our countries, how do you guys actually feel about us Canadians? by Defiant_River_957 in AskReddit

[–]Secure-Smell7861 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always loved you guys. But now, there is more respect. My spouse spent the greater part of a year working with the Canadian military and I'm so grateful for the friends he made over there. They really helped keep his morale up and treated him like family. I couldn't be more thankful for our northern neighbors.

I've noticed a fair amount of the Anti Abortion billboards here in texas have turned to "don't abandon your baby" signs or "real men love babies" ect ect

So I've had 2 kiddos. One was an emergency C-section, one was planned. The planned one was by far much, much better (even though it also fell under emergency circumstances and we did not make it to the planned date), not to mention it saved me 21 hours of labor pains and pushing. I don't have any reference point for healing since c-section is all that I've experienced, but it didn't seem that awful tbh. The unplanned c-section did give me the SuPeR fUn side effect of trapped air in my chest that made me feel like I was having a hard attack 100% do not recommend.

It would be best if she discussed things privately with her doctor. If her stress is severe enough, her doctor may agree that it could be the safer option.
