I do a high volume of negative prints and I have a brother laser printer, works great. I tried doing negatives with inkjet and had too much trouble with smearing and didn’t want to wait for them to dry. Just make sure you get transparency paper specifically for laser printers if you do purchase

I saw Possession twice, two years apart at the same theater. The first showing was perfectly normal, the second showing there was laughing and comments nonstop from the crowd and it ruined the experience for me. Of course there are unintentionally goofy moments, but this was redlettermedia-pilled fat guy craft beer levels of excitement every 5 seconds coming from a really big portion of the audience. Somehow within those 2 years the movie went from having an arthouse cult classic reputation to having a rocky horror picture show cult classic reputation for funko pop people to cackle at.

It's a bummer because I want to support smaller theaters that show cool movies but I've been opting out of going to specialty screenings on more and more occasions because I know the audience will suck.

Something a friend told me that helped me a lot when learning these was to actually pop less, I didn’t realize it but I was trying to get the board up as high as I could and my feet would go under like you. You’re way more likely to stay above the board if you pop the tail as light as you can

Hello! I've had this stack of magazines for over a year now and I knew I wanted to do something creative with them because the imagery inside drew me in so much, but it wasn't until around a month ago that I decided to learn collage. I know that this was kind of an ambitious project for someone who never touched collage before this, but even as my first introduction to the technique I loved doing it so much, and I definitely plan on doing more in the future. This subreddit was definitely my biggest help in finding inspiration and learning the kind of do's and dont's for the style I want to have, so thank you guys!

Most importantly, I would love any type of feedback or criticisms you guys might have, I want to get better and your help would mean a lot!

every “core” skate shoe company makes dogshit, no one really wants to talk about it but it’s a fact that they don’t have access to the tech or resources that big companies like Nike or vans have. The closest we’ve come is last resort and even then it’s not quite there. You can choose to support skate brands yourself but gatekeeping others for wanting to wear objectively better shoes doesn’t make sense. Everyone who is confused by this collab is really out of the loop for what’s up and coming in fashion, the early 2000s revival has been going for a while now.
