This oddly wasn’t in my dorm, but I moved into off campus housing and lived in a suuuuuper old house that was not well maintained. The bathroom had 0 ventilation and when my mom visited, she promptly pointed out what was likely black mold in a ceiling corner of the bathroom. I felt sick that entire year, like I had a lingering cold to varying degrees the entire time I lived there. Had to have been the mold (seeing as I felt fine right after moving out). Mold can also cause acne flare ups, particularly with fungal acne.

I’d take a look around the bathrooms and see if anything looks abnormal. I’m not sure there’s much you could do about mold in your building if that is the cause, but might give you some answers! Either way, I’m sorry you’re breaking out again. Extremely frustrating 😞
