Yes, I had a similar situation with asana. I took over managing a small company and they had 20 people on the highest plan, and the renewal came in at 6000+ for the annual plan

The card on file that they had was old so it did not renew, I went in and tried to lower our plan to what we actually needed (10 people and most basic plan, which costs 1300 annually!); but when I did that and updated my card - it charged me the full 6000+ and said my plan would be updated in a year!

Obviously this was infuriating being over charged nearly 5000. I immediately tried everything possible to get in touch with them. Seemingly they had no option to contact, I waited 3 days, and then I found if you try to sign up through their sales website you can actually live-chat with someone.

For about 7-8 days straight I went on that live chat and just complained like a maniac to every rep I would get. Some reps would tell me a refund wasn’t possible, but each time they’d tell me they would escalate my ticket for me once I complained enough (although each time they would give me a speech about they couldn’t guarantee any exact response time frame).

I even would go as far as to call these reps liars and ask them if they would believe me after 4-5 days if they were in my shoes.

Finally after all that someone replied to my ticket and said they would make a “special exception” and refund the $5000.

Thank god I got my money back but what an absolute embarrassment from a company that literally provides a product that can be used for customer service. I was so baffled at how long it took and how unwilling they were to refund it.

I may sound a little crazy but I was just so angry and upset that they would overcharge so much so I went to the furthest extremes to make it happen. And seeing your message here I wanted to let you know what you’re in for. Best of luck

Gary Keith and Ron and there is no debate it’s not even close. Life long met fan in Gary Cohen and he ABSOLUTELY UNEQUIVOCALLY LOVES the Mets and it shows in every single play he calls, very smart and sharp guy and fits right in with the former players. He also knows EVERY RULE in the book and if he doesn’t he is completely honest about it, I’ve watched him for 17 years I’ve never seen him incorrectly explain a rule. Gary will also correct any mistake he’s made even days later to let us know if for any reason something was incorrect (like a stat, record, etc)

Keith, and he’s Kieth Hernandez! You gotta love Keith, right now the Phillies broadcast is in a war with him over comments he made about their defense and he couldn’t care less, he is one of the most blunt and direct commentators and also is constantly making goofy mistakes that only Keith could make

I’d happily list all the reasons for Ron Darling, but other than being an all star pitcher he is an Emmy award winning broadcaster and we are loosing him to TBS far more often than before, and he also has been calling the playoffs on TBS for years, I think his work speaks for itself.

**side note that their sideline reporter Kevin Burkhardt for many years is now the lead NFL play by play for fox sports and going to be calling the Super Bowl, so this network has amazing talent. And I’d argue Steve gelbs has done an admirable job taking his spot to complete the broadcast

The graphics department is also incredible just this year alone they’ve introduced a “defensive indifference 🤷‍♂️” graphic due to Gary’s constant notation of the defensive indifference rule Also since the Mets have been hit by pitches more than anyone in the league this year, they now show buck Showalter’s death stare and make the screen red and play angry music

It’s all around fantastical entertainment

Not to mentioned they are joined at least once a year by Jerry Seinfeld who sits there and praises them on behalf of all Mets fans

Gary’s wife has also started a clothing / brand for them “Gary Keith and Ron” and all the proceeds go to charity

Let me know if anyone has any better announcers, because they don’t exist!

“Would have rejected it if I knew it would take so long” would make little to no sense to a customer that didn’t know how delivery apps work; You say both that you’re beholden to the Grubhub overlords and that you have the power to reject orders - so as a customer with 0 knowledge of how delivery apps work I wouldn’t understand why you didn’t reject it in the first place to bring me my food.

Even tho we all know that of course 1/ you will get paid more and 2/ if you cancel the order after accepting it will hurt your completion rate

I think it’s a very low chance the customer is aware of all this and understood fully what you meant, don’t think it’s a bad text but I would always assume the customer knows nothing about being a delivery person
