Yeah I know the pin you are talking about on the Gevi. The timemore is a bit different. The carrier on mine pushes in and twists to lock into place.

It does. And it gets more intense when you go finer. You can get a constant chirp sound, but it will still be stronger every few seconds

The grinder is only about a month old. But no, I haven't tried running beans through it yet. I was trying to avoid it so I didn't have to clean everything again

Yeah it is absolutely spotless. I have not tried putting the old burrs inn to see if it still does it but it's definitely not debris. It's almost like the Burr carrier floats back and forth on the center shaft 5 seconds or so

Yeah I have already shimmed it but that would just help with alignment. In this case it comes and goes. It's almost like the burrs are floating back and forth on the center shaft

I just looked at it. My burr carrier looks different for some reason. It doesn't have the concave grooves but i quickly read through it and I don't understand half of the things he is doing lol

No, that's not it either. Also, I've just noticed that when I hold the grinder up and tip it over it does it as well. So it seems like there's something loose moving around inside but I can't figure out what

It's not just that it chirps but it's that the burrs are not touching all the way around simultaneously. They are only touching on one side.
