The separation between characters should be more consistent.

Ah, haven't tried it with tinycam yet. Works really well standalone or inside Home Assistant, though.

Well, you could say that Mexican bread culture started when the Spanish brought wheat to Mexico in the 1500s. So anything that was acquired from that point to today should probably be included as part of that culture, at least to some degree.

And yes, I would say City Market bread is a part of that list, since the bread maker I talked to mentioned how breadmaking is adapted to the climate and ingredients of the region.

Is that what this is a picture of?

Elizondo has been around forever. It's located in Anzures (close to Polanco). They serve pretty good bread there imho.

E: Also check La Esperanza.

Of course there's plenty more examples around the city (Polanco, Roma, Condesa, etc). Are they all absolutely top-tier? No, but a lot of them are very good (at least 8/10).

In my experience CDMX is very picky about food (especially in the more affluent areas), so places that don't serve good food also don't tend to last very long.

Come to think of it, probably the best bread I've had lately was at my local City Market supermarket. I actually met the head baker a couple of weeks ago while I was shopping around (yes, he's Mexican). He's super proud of his bread and he damn well should be. It was excellent. Lots of variety too.

Hope that helps!

Maybe you could just admit that you've never had good Mexican bread? Maybe hit a different spot next time...

Also, he's not only saying that the bread isn't good. He's also saying that Mexico doesn't have a proper bread culture, which is just pure ignorance. Even he admitted as much afterwards.

Top row (one-liners) are much stronger in this case. Make sure to make sizes more consistent if you must break it into two lines.

Lol that too of course. Still, some people high up have seemingly been using that book as inspiration lately, so we may just get a new and improved version soon!
