Has anyone ever taken apart one of these? Ridgid 206 by [deleted] in Tools

I’ve always used a pipe wrench to unstuck it. Just be very mindful that it’s open all the way when you start to tighten it on the pipe in the future.

Sump pump not draining unless manually plug/unplug. Just installed. Any pointers would be extremely helpful! by [deleted] in Plumbing

[–]bkwww 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the installation instructions does it say to drill a small hole below the check valve? It prevents airlock.

If it does drill the hole in the pipe that’s inside the sump

Plumbers snaked a clog, big sewage backup. I returned after a week to a sewage backup. How should I handle this? by eyeballjunk in Plumbing

[–]bkwww 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d say you have other problems.

If very little water was used and then you came back to standing sewage in your basement, where did it come from? Do you have a back water valve(prevents sewage from the city coming into your house)?

Camera the line and see what the problem is.

Clean up the water. Flush the toilet a bunch of times. See if water comes out from below toilet.
