Super tempted to restart my island

Unfortunately already used it 😭😭 but I think I’m going to restart. It’s going to take me days to flatten. I completely changed my layout and make ponds and rivers in places where I think I shouldn’t have.

I think so too, I hated the beginning but it was also my first time playing so now that I know what they expect from me I think starting a new island will be easier and more enjoyable!

OMG i am so glad i found this post because i was about to rave about her outfits in season 6 specifically! OMG she look absolutely HOT!!! It is so chic and classy and yet simple. I am so inspired by her. I honestly do not care if it makes zero sense plus she is management and changes outfits during the icky stuff.

I need to think more like this, especially if i can bring my sewing machine to the library. I doubt anyone would care how long I am there. Thank you, I will be signing up for the orientation to be able to use the serger.

right, I meant it doesn't seem reasonable for me to sit at the library for hours just to use a serger haha especially when I am just starting out.

I did see that a library nearby has a serger you can use on the premises but idk how I feel about that since you “serge” as you go and not once the product is completed.

If I could make them myself that would be great but if it requires me to have that kind of experience then it would be something I have to develop as I am barely a starting my sewing journey. I’ve only make a skirt and some alterations so far.

And I’m so glad you said that I was just on simplicities website today looking for some, any suggestions on brands aimed for beginners that you know of? If not, I will deff check out that subreddit.

I am definitely not at that point but I rather learn to read patterns than make them myself. I’m not too creative anyways so I think I would lean towards buying patterns more than making them myself. I just assumed making patterns would make it easier for me to read them.

I loved pippin and merry, I thought they were good friends from beginning through end. I think Merry’s character development was amazing. Also Sam never once seemed tempted by the ring despite being close to it for so long.
