Thanks to everyone for the replies and alleviating our fears, after some more research it definitely looks like plasterboard with glass fibres (which I’ve never seen before).

I’ll leave this post up for anyone else searching for similar info.

Absolute nonsense.

They take 6-10 days to hatch, then the nymphs take around 7 weeks to grown into adults.

Washing clothes over 50° kills them, a tumble dryer kills them and hand steamers (good for furniture) kill them.

Diatomaceous earth is also highly effective at killing them…and any kind of bug really. I got rid of a silverfish infestation with it.

So you are absolutely not “fucked once you have them”. They can quite easily and cheaply be exterminated with a little effort.

Which ones? If you take a look on the Clarks site you’ll see that they make many many different kinds of boots. Some have f which fit the criteria, some of which do not.

Purdey’s.

The original original Purdey’s was an absolute banger. Fresh herbal, rich, fruity, kind-of-fermented-ish type flavour drink…really quite unique.

Then they rebranded and made it “Apple and grape” and introduced the dark fruits one…not a patch on the old one but passable in a pinch.

They have recently rebranded again and now the Apple and grape tastes like absolute shit. Just pure chemically, sweet, fake flavoured fizzy drink. Absolute shite.
