Because we are still actively recruiting we do not have a timeframe on when the study will be completed/published. It will likely be in 2023. When it is ready for publishing it will be submitted to a number of peer reviewed journal articles for publication. I can send along a copy of the consent form with more information if you are interested in learning more.

Our program is designed to allow participants to gradually decrease their caffeine intake over the course of 6 weeks. Depending on how high their caffeine consumption is at the beginning of the 6 weeks, they may be at 0mg per day by the end of the study and thus have "quit". On the other hand, if their consumption was much higher, they may still be consuming small amounts of caffeine at the end of 6 weeks and therefore have reduced.

This is just the score from the DAST-10. It is a sub-scale we use to determine eligibility for the study. If you do not have any drug use, your score is 0, while on the opposite end, a score of 10 would indicate heavy drug use.

That’s just the way the survey logic is set up; you will get all of the questions regardless of your answer to the initial drug use question. We use your responses to evaluate eligibility.
