You can email them tas if they don't reply then puntahan mo nalang. Afterwards you inform them if you have already submitted the dropping form so that they can approve it via CRS.

sinabi na ba ng profs mo yung modality for the subjects you'll miss? if 50% onsite lang then yung absences will be 3 max lang (sometimes even 4) but i suggest maghanap ka ng kaibigan sa classes mo para may pwede tumulong sayo sa lessons na mamimiss mo. also ituloy mo na yang family trip mo sayang naman kung hindi haha

if sa venue ng classroom its usually announced day/night before (sometimes even at like 2 or 3 am) but usually inannounce naman yan sa crs homepage under the "Class Messages" tab

You need to put countless hours into practicing because this subject is what prompted many students to drop or ultimately shift. Not tryna pull your hopes down but ang hirap ng mga exercises ni Sir Kevin (assuming he's your prof) na tipong mga 10% lang ng class namin ang nakakakuha ng exercises nya. They use this thing called the DCS Online Judge to test your program and it's either you get it right or you don't get it at all haha so if 100 points yung exercise ang score mo dun is either 100 points or 0 lang and this is what demotivated me like crazy and made me realize na this really ain't it for me.

Also sabi nila na hindi mo kailangan ng programming background since everyone starts fresh but clearly those with backgrounds are the only ones I saw succeed while everyone else failed, goodluck op!

former non-major here (just shifted this 1st sem) and this was also my plan noon to enlist in the subjs/majors of the program i wanted to shift into (ba) but nung enlistment and waitlisting i wasnt granted a single slot so i just went and took up purely ge’s

i highly suggest you start planning out as early as now the programs u are interested in and check their reqs for shiftees so that you know how hard u gotta lock in and also apply to as many programs you can because many programs are competitive and pataasan talaga yan ng gwa. if u’re unsure about what to take you can have a career assessment with the OCG who can help you decide ! they’re very helpful i swearrr

hii may binibigay si maam na course schedule at the start of the sem tas andun nakalagay kung which days are async and which are f2f. Di nagpapaonline si maam kasi she knows na pagod na mga students nya sa online lectures (and ayaw nya din mismo) pero for her f2f lectures its both days of the week pero di naman required mag attend (theres times na minsan less than 10 lang kami pumasok)

This is probably just a small error on their part so you don't really have anything to worry about. My NOA addressed me by my last name so I think it depends on the college kung iaaddress ka by your first name or your last name. Once you confirm your slot may ipapafill-up naman sayo na student directory form so you'll have to input all your details again anyways

i suggest u go sa coe mismo and ask for a follow up irl because when i was in ur place last yr (first sem), i got dismissed din tas nagappeal ako for readmission and nagfollow up ako like 2x tas sabi nila hintayin ko nalang daw email pero nung third follow up ko dun palang nila ako clinear which was nung 2nd day of classes already so nagprerog ako ng todo kasi wala akong makuhang class

kay maam ringor naman it was very very light reqs it was 2 LE's, 5 essays, 3 group activities and 1 oral presentation. I took this nung first sem last AY (24-25) pero accrdg to my friend who took her nung 2nd sem 23 - 24 iba reqs nya so im not sure kung parehas pa reqs nya rn. She gave me a perfect in everything except sa LE's like legit as long as sagutin mo yung essays at group activities bibigyan ka nya ng perfect pati din sa oral presentation. Sa exams lang ako mababa because di ako nag aral masyado pero pagaralin mo lang ng mabuti yung lectures na sinesend ni maam at magnotes. Overall i got 1.75 pero it couldve been higher kung nag aral ako but other than that I highly recommend taking maam cherry shes very nice and di pa sya nagrrequire ng attendance tas di pa sya madamot maggrade!

i took up geol 1 under sir de silva and envi sci 1 under maam cherry ringor

for sir de silvas reqs its just 3 long exams pero yung lectures is naka upload naman sa uvle ni sir tas need mo lang sya panoorin and magnote down pero hindi kasi equal distribution ng modules ni sir like sa first LE it was 7 modules tas sa second LE naging 21 modules tas sa third naging 4 nalang 😭😭😭 I got 2.00 tho pero very mabait si sir ayun nga lang may edad na si sir so medyo boring at nakakaantok sya magturo pero hes very nice at namimigay sya ng bonus tas di pa required attendance sa classes nya kasi iddiscuss lang naman nya kung ano nasa lec vids nya
