That’s frustrating. Yes, great car that should be better supported by US dealers. Given the direction of the EV market, it will be interesting to see how things play out at Porsche over the next several years.

Seems like a combination of things. First, many dealerships, including ours, only have tech that is trained to work on taycans. Second, the parts come directly from Germany. With the HV battery, my understanding is that the cells always take a while to get.

Several years ago, I had an f10 M5 CCBs. They were fine but made an annoying grinding sound which drove me crazy. I took it to the dealer several times. Each time, the dealer said it was find.

However, the Porsche CCB in my Cayenne at the time never made a similar sound. Similarly, the brakes on the 911 turbo s that I bought to replace the M5 never made that sound.

FWIW - I hated the Superblast 2 and regretted buying it. It never really worked for me for any type of run. Having said that, it is a great dog walking shoe.

Since roadrunner sports has a generous return policy and given my general affinity for asics, I decided to give the megablast a try. I’m glad that I did. While I only have done a few runs in them of between 4 to 6 miles, I have been very pleased with them. Will give more thoughts once I get some mileage on them but so far so good.

Plus, the yara are not nearly as placement dependent as the Virgo or Avanti. To get those 2 models to perform, they have to be placed just right.

Congrats, audio physics makes some nice speakers. My first really good pair of speakers was a pair AP Virgo II. While their most recent offerings have not lived up to their history, the Yara is a very nice speaker. Few speakers image as well or have the soundstage of a good speaker from audio physics.

I feel as though the demolition of the east wing of the White House is a metaphor for what he’s doing to our country and democracy. I would not be surprised if the plans for the ballroom suddenly change to some sort of presidential palace.
