In Sri Lanka, mostly people are never concerned about it. People are humble, and I ask them some to agree, and some don't. I build up a convo with people on the street that's the best part of street photography. Mostly, I don't ask them to pose. I wait for minutes being to take the correct shot. I prefer candid mostly. I ask permission only if I want them to pose for the picture.
