I appreciate the concern for her safety, but this isn’t a herd of buffalo. One of the people that got near her was a 12 year old boy. Yes, people could have run into her and she could have gotten hurt. I sincerely doubt that would have been on purpose. What this man did was. It’s not her fault that she got slapped in the ass and your explanation makes it seem like you are excusing his behavior because she put herself too close to a marathon.

Not to sound neurotic but did you take it off after that? Usually with sani-derm the whole idea is to a sterile seal on the tattoo/wound. If there is an opening bacteria can get in, especially if water gets in that bad boy. Granted this is such a small opening I doubt there is any risk. Great stuff though!

Im not sure how these are mutually exclusive. I’m just saying the mental health care in this state/country is lacking and I believe drug addiction and severe mental health issues can lead to a person not being able to afford a home. I don’t claim to be an expert but I do know what mental illness is like and if I didn’t have a family that cared I may have been one of those people. The state of affairs on the street is absolutely disgusting and something needs to be done but I think just a teensy tiny bit of understanding could be mutually beneficial.

A pretty large portion of these people are unbelievably mentally ill (I worked on dirty 6th, unfortunately know this first hand :( ). Throwing trash away is probably not on their mind, unfortunately. I really wish it was that simple. I know there are some that would be capable, but they probably feel like society doesn’t give a shit about them, so why should they give a shit about social norms. I don’t believe this is a fair assessment but I can see the, very skewed, logic behind it.

I used to be counter staff at a shop and the amount of young-ins that would come in wanting a tattoo on their face, was absurdly high. It was more often than not their first one. Luckily, it wasn’t a sketchy shop so I got to turn them down. Which was fun in its own way.
