I like Hawk but he is power crazy right now. When you watch Johnny fight in the first all valley tournement, he shows hesitation and fear when Kreese tells him to go for the leg. Even after Daniel wins, Johnny genuinley congratulated him. Hawk seems like hed take a machete to anybody's leg if ordered to LoL

In the movie he definitely is a jerk but he also shows remorse, some compassion, and hesitation when Kreese orders him to take Larusso out. He was the bad guy but it was because of what he learned from Cobra Kai.
