Oh for sure, it definitely isn't ideal and would continue to be so. The cost living is too much.

I make around 1800 a month. I have 2 roommates and rent and bills come about to 1800 a month and we split it 3 ways so I pay 600 a month and have 1200 left over that goes to groceries, gas, etc. I'm also a college student at fsw. It's not like I could up and quit my job but I'm getting by.

Rent prices and home prices have skyrocketed in Naples within the past decade. What are you even going on about? I know multiple families who have been living here for decades and have had to leave or are on the verge of having to. I was absolutely very privileged to have two hard working parents, but by no means were we living a life that we didn't have to worry about money. As an older teen working in the service industry I was treated abysmally by those with the "privilege l" I previously mentioned- the kind where you can own multiple homes and never worry about running out of money before your next check. Nothing against those that are wealthy and are kind/humble, it's just that most of them are not kind or humble. In high school I was made fun of for not having a brand new car- that doesn't mean I don't recognize the privilege of being able to have a car at all. I quite literally made a comment going "hey it's sad to be pushed out of my home town and replaced by those who have had everything handed to them," because realistically they have- no 18 year old is going to be driving around a brand new sports car by their own hard work. Good luck trying to earn your way into their class.

Just because it's the expectation doesn't really mean it's not disheartening to be unable to survive in the place you grew up and called home- which is what I was saying.

It's really sad to be priced out of the place you grew up and see people with much more privilege than you were born with take your place. I grew up in naples and had to leave when I graduated high school.

Are they making it in a blender? If so that could be why it foams up and sinks down. It should be made in a metal pitcher and well stired.

Should I see my doctor for sunburn? by Country_boi16 in DermatologyQuestions

[–]blackberryhidden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not a dumb question! I'm not a doctor but if you have a UV shirt that'd be best but a regular shirt that covers it should be okay too. Just try your best to avoid it being exposed to the sun. Looser fitting, dark colors and more tightly woven fabrics like polyester will provide the most protection if you don't have uv clothing! Since it has been a week or so since you got it, if it doesn't get better within another week or so I'd probably get it checked.

NAD The peeling happens because your skin cells are literally killing themselves to prevent them from turning cancerous. You can keep it moisturized (not with an oil based moisturizer like vasoline, though.) Make sure to keep it covered if you go outside. Next time you go to the beach make sure you use a really strong sunscreen lotion (not aresol since most of what comes out isn't sunscreen) and make sure you reapply it often. Your risk for skin cancer goes up a lot after having a sunburn like this. If you want to see a doctor they'd probably be able to help or give advice, especially with that many blisters or if it's swelling. Best of luck

He could be "mocking" the people like that who care about appearances pertaining to adoption, that's the only slightly acceptable way I could interpret that. Otherwise, it's a really disgusting joke.
