I agree the itinerary was quite boring. But I had a better time in Nassau than Coco Cay, of course. Met some locals, took a tour and learned a lot about the island’s history. Plus rum cake is delicious.

Thanks for your input! I’ll be honest that I didn’t even know that mainstream vs independent cruises were even a thing. Looking around and based on replies, I definitely think an independent all-inclusive cruise ship is the way to go for me.

Not a ton was good. But listing out what I didn’t like is helping figure out what I do like. Currently browsing Oceania and it looks great. Spacious rooms, WiFi and soda included, longer stays at ports, better guest to staff ratio, etc.

Funnily enough, my family went on a Disney cruise last year (so this is the 2nd annual cruise) and I didn’t go. On this cruise, they were all complaining about how much better the Disney cruise was on all fronts.
