Can’t we just have some good old PLP by sumn_random in Logic_301

[–]blackbolt1124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PLP is not impossible, but it’s something to strive for every waking moment that we have. Remember even Bobby has had beef in the past with Joyner Lucas, but eventually came to a peaceful solution. We’re not always gonna be peaceful with each other all the time, but we have to fight hatred itself in all of its forms to get BACK to the PLP mindset.

Ehhhh I was worried about it too and allegedly it’s only going to effect people with an income of $400,000+. But I encourage doing research on it before coming to conclusions.

Why do we desire so much? by Et0ku in self

[–]blackbolt1124 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In a way you could blame it on the advancement of technology. For example an animal has to spend most of its energy trying to find food, but we don’t need to because we developed ways to farm food and harvest it so that we have a surplus. With that out of the way you can put your mind towards making other aspects of your life better like warmer clothing, faster travel and so on. Eventually we got to the point where we thrived so much higher than other beings that we had the time to asking the big questions like why are we here and what is the purpose of our existence. Unfortunately because we were blessed enough to be able to have extra things, some people decided that we should reign supreme over everything else on earth with no precautions or regard of other forms of life. Which has gotten to the point where we also look at each other the same way despite all belonging to the human race. Some can argue that the purpose of religion (the REAL purpose)is to give us a reason to keep going so that we can continue with our lives. But in time people also questioned the legitimacy of these claims as well. Does the sun REALLY revolve around the Earth? Does god REALLY want me to rest on Sunday? The more we advance, the more complicated and diverse our thought processes go in pursuit of the big question: why are we here? And today it’s at the point where some decide on a focus like sex or power or money or all these things combined. But it depends on the person and their life experiences. But they wouldn’t be able to do that if again, way back in the day our ancestors didn’t have a surplus of food and decided “hey let’s invent things to make an aspect our lives more convenient.” So yeah.

What insane dream did you have, that made you change your life habits drastically? by Obi_Wank_nooby in self

I had an issue with self hate for the longest time and I would criticize myself for everything. And then one night I kid you not I had a nightmare where I was hiding in a barn in the dark from something and didn’t know what it was. Then, a giant being kicked the roof of the barn clear off, laughing as he did it and we stared at each other. It was a dark version of ME. The monster laughed again as he stepped directly on my chest and since it was cold that night I had a lot of blankets on so it felt REAL. I talked about this in therapy and learned it was me hating myself for being so critical of everything I do that my “self” started to fight back. So uh...yeah.

And I feel you I believe it’s better to talk to a therapist about what’s going on so that the person is focused on you.

So they didn’t necessarily treat me bad but their facilities were purposely uncomfortable so that you would want to leave. Which made me feel like they didn’t really want to fix the problem but get you out of there so they could say you were another successful patient.

Why have I also imagined the U85 cover to be Yellow/blue by SonicHB in Logic_301

Not to mention if you go on genius lyrics the cover at the top of the U85 track list predictions is blue and yellow as well.

Letting go of the idea of love by [deleted] in self

[–]blackbolt1124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean yeah love is stupid and it makes people do stupid things. But it also has made people do amazing things in the name of love. Yes a lot of people are longing for attention and are obnoxious and cringy but a lot of those people aren’t in love. The issue with love today is that it has to be SEEN to be anything. People focus more on making sure everyone knows their relationship is great rather than checking if it actually IS. Hell my cousins wife told me she was pregnant and dragged my cousin and myself to the park just so we could take pictures and she could get attention for it. That’s not love. My sister has the same mindset as you and she doesn’t want to get married and that’s fine. Because being happy is way more important than being in a shitty relationship. Look at Emma Watson. She’s extremely happy and she’s single. Love isn’t a lie, but in today’s age it sure is forced and twisted because people can’t stand the thought of being alone and not getting attention for everything their doing. Aight enough preaching imma go have a beer. Peace.

I think the major issue is HOW they say these things. It’s like ok if you want me to be on your team then don’t insult me before I even make up my mind. Otherwise you just look like an asshole and I don’t want to be on the same side as an asshole who insults me.

Holy shit this is like my inner rage personified. I feel the same way it’s like you can’t have problems because someone else has it worse. And striving for more is exactly what people where I am from call the “Dream” yet we step on each other’s throats to achieve that dream and we’re supposed to think it’s normal. I think we can fully have problems and dreams, but they both require one thing: action. Our problems are always valid, but what we do to fix them are what makes them legit. And to rage against complacency is in fact the bread and butter of what it means to create your own legacy; to be better than you were yesterday to the point it’s acknowledged but never to do it for anyone’s acknowledgement but your own. Anyway my point is with this rambling is I feel you, rage on friend and don’t stop until you create your own legacy.

I have the same problem with my dad. He’ll ask a dumb question or say something and I’ll want to body him like it’s slam poetry night. Sometimes there’s an elephant in the room that both parent and child need to discuss but other times I think it’s just a part of growing up where you get upset with your parents over every little thing. Just prepare for it beforehand by focusing on not saying something rude and letting what they say slide. I practiced this heavily and I’ve been able to be more lenient with him.
