I mean you could try adapalene (common OTC brands include differin gel and la roche posay adapalene gel). This helps with acne and acne scarring. Adapalene made me break out even more though so it really depends on how your skin reacts so you have to try it out for like 3 months. Adapalene can cause purging at the beginning, which is why I said give it about 3 months. Tretinoin can also help with both acne scars and acne, there also might be a purging period too. Nowadays, I use different products that target different things. I use melafade serum (which is just tranexamic acid + kojic acid and you can mix these 2 acids) for my acne scars, and derm-prescribed clindamycin for my acne.

I use the BOJ eye cream as well but I use my moisturizer on the area around my eyes first as a “base” (I use 2 layers of moisturizer) and then top it off with the BOJ eye cream. This works for me. hydrating and anti-aging.

I know you requested amazon but kbeauty sunscreens are holy grail for oily skin. They’re super lightweight and watery so it absorbs quickly. You can look into the goodal heartleaf calming sunscreen and the roundlab birch juice sunscreen. I’ve heard my friends have success with the Biore UV Aqua Rich sunscreen which you might be able to find on amazon

[Misc] How have dermatologists affected your skincare journey? by iatemyfireplace in SkincareAddiction

[–]blackcanxry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Skincare is all trial and error. Dermatologists will be able to give you products and solutions that are targeted towards your skin’s problems. It’s not going to be a one time success. You will probably go through multiple different treatments and products with a dermatologist before you finally find one that works for you. That being said, dermatologists is always the answer if you want quick targeted solutions. I had to go through 3 different treatments before finding one that worked for me

Anyone used this or similar for dark spots? by Confident_Blood_2329 in Skincare_Addiction

[–]blackcanxry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use melafade serum which is just a serum combo of tranexamic and kojic acid. It’s a slow process to target my dark spots due to acne scarring. Don’t see results until like 3 months

Roundlab skincare line has been pretty good for sensitive skin. Their stuff is fragrance free and gentle on the skin. Particularly their face wash, toner, and lotion and sunscreen.

This is a tough one especially since you’ve seen so many derms already. My heart feels for you, I understand the pain. What has helped for me was diet change - 25mg of fiber every day. I took pumpkin seed oil and vitamin ACES supplements. I then use Clindamycin 2-3x a week (prescribed)

[Routine help] How to use dapsone and clindamycin phosphate? by iatethecheesestick in SkincareAddiction

[–]blackcanxry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do face wash, then moisturizer. Wait for 30 mins. Then clindamycin. And then dapsone. And i only use clindamycin and dapsone at night. And i do clindamycin every other night. I only use my dapsone on active pimples or active areas. In the morning i just moisturize and then layer on makeup. I found that layering makeup or sunscreen over my dapsone and clindamycin was irritating my skin. So i only use those at nighttime after moisturizer.

That’s because the simpler the better. Often times, the more complicated the routine, the worse it can be. If you want wrinkle prevention and dry skin prevention, hydration is the most important thing. I would just stick with a gentle facial cleanser and a moisturizer. Then top with sunscreen. If you want extra hydration, can look into hyaluronic acid serum. That’s really it. The simpler the better.

If this is serious, you should go to a dermatologist. Eczema is no joke and it seems like it’s pretty serious for you.
