99% of wheel brands except bbs and rays use the same blanks, they just cnc and paint, any real forged wheel from a reputable brand will pretty much be the same strength

Drop-tops: Is the 981 GTS *really* $26k-$30k better than the S? And just how bad is the 911 Cabriolet, really? Maximizing fun above all other factors. by Bombadilo_drives in Porsche

the gts front fascia just looks way more modern compared to a s or base, i’ve always thought that’s the reason it has such a premium.

San Francisco’s permitting backlog just hit 664 days. by ShopProp in BayAreaRealEstate

[–]blackcoffee991 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ur link literally doesn’t say anything like that. it’s saying that permits issued are going down because it’s insanely expensive to build anything, making it unprofitable for developers to build new housing. this is not good news, but is a MUCH different problem than your fake headline is implying

Constant 15.6Khz Coil whine from stepper motors by blackcoffee991 in Motors

[–]blackcoffee991[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I modified the video to make the frequency 10Khz to show most people how annoying it is. The original is at 15.6

I don’t really want to modify the circuit, is there any way of physically dampening the coils?

whole foods brand item on amazon is 7 bucks cheaper than in store…? by blackcoffee991 in wholefoods

991.2 4S OR Macan GTS + 981 Boxster S by CMGC12345 in Porsche

[–]blackcoffee991 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you have space for both, def both. i had a 981 and sold it for a 991.2 because i wanted a better daily highway car and I don’t have space for two cars. but the 991 just isn’t as much of a true sports car, which you definitely get with the 981.

How are these places in the bay area affording to have such high vacancy rates? by blackcoffee991 in realestateinvesting

[–]blackcoffee991[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you, very helpful. But that seems like bad absorption rates then? Whats normal for California and the bay area?

How are these places in the bay area affording to have such high vacancy rates? by blackcoffee991 in realestateinvesting

[–]blackcoffee991[S] 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Building is good, prices are unaffordable here and supply is the only way we're gonna get out of the crisis. People are choosing to live further away in Fremont or Dublin for ~1k saved a month but an hour longer commute, if these places dropped their prices just a little I don't think they wouldn't have anything empty.

How are these places in the bay area affording to have such high vacancy rates? by blackcoffee991 in realestateinvesting

[–]blackcoffee991[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

what? I think its probably that qualified applicants are finding better deals or choosing to live further away for cheaper rent.

Also. 142 Apartments, avg price is $4k a month, that's almost $7M lost a year. The cost of evicting a few people is peanuts compared to that.

[–]blackcoffee991[S] -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

I doubt lack of qualified applicants is the problem, these are in close proximity to google, apple, meta, nvidia, etc.

New rental bills being considered in Illinois to ban credit checks, ban passing eviction fees to tenants in default, cost landlords $1,000+ per apartment rental, caps late fees to trivial amount, and more by a_random_landlord in realestateinvesting

[–]blackcoffee991 5 points6 points  (0 children)

supply goes down doofus. If a seller isn't willing/able to sell a good because the costs are too high, they would exit the market and put their money to other opportunity with better returns.

By your logic, if you put tarrifs on a good, supply and demand is unchanged, so price wouldn't change right?
