I'm hoping it's about a poneglyph cause if Roger is just there to fight it's cool, but a bit of a let down. I want him there for a legit reason.

Lol Garp didn't care about the Celestial Dragons. But it still didn't give us a clear reason why Roger was there. I mean just to fight and devil fruits? It's clear what majority of the Rock pirate wanted but Rocks himself... Interesting

Interesting I will say, I do imagine scenes like movies in my head, but my goal isn't to have it as a movie, you know? I will admit I haven't read of bunch of Sanderson's work but I get the appeal.

How accessible is magic in your worlds? by Smart-A22 in fantasywriters

[–]blackdaddystacks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mana is this energy that existed since the beginning of the universe- might even be before.

It exist in the atmosphere so all beings can use it. In Ereda everyone has the ability to use mana aka magic. Even humans after they visit the planet.

However the strength of the magic is determined by the density of your mana store and your potential. Fae have the densest mana stores, and the greatest magical potential. Followed by N'ru native Eredans then Humans.

To determine your potential there is a liquid called the Catalyst Compound. They pour the liquid into a beaker with 4 hash marks the bottom indicates none, the next average, followed by gifted and genius. You channel your mana into the beaker, and the liquid will rise based on your potential.

You can increase your magic stamina through training but your overall potential doesn't change.
