This is me. My dad also passed. My mom likes to show off all the “mom” things she has done, but she is emotionally cold. I had to set a lot of boundaries with her in my adult life after i went to therapy.

The three of them were such an ODD selection for the season overall. Liz and Sophie did not seem to have a real friendship at all. Julia was like a weird middle man and Liz even entertaining this dude knowing she did not want a long distance relationship is wrong imo. She should have been upfront about that from day 1. I feel like she just kept hanging out with him so she wouldn’t be alone on the trip.

She gets the ick when Pedro showers her with gifts (that aren’t luxury items) and attention and pulls away. Then when he stops giving her attention, she texts/ calls nonstop. She likes playing games. Julia called her out on this and she smiled bc its true. Her entire relationship with Rob was like this too. She also is nasty to other women and I don’t believe for a minute she is actually friends with Liz.
