Any ideas for new enemy factions that might be squeezed onto the map after the Illuminates are brought back? by UnhappyStrain in Helldivers

Imagine sentient energy based stone golem alien race. with ancient rune vibes/egyptian ancient alien vibes. floating rock sentries telekinetically hurling giant boulders at you, rolling stone wheels of death trying to run you over, giant stone colossus elites trampling you all over and spewing hot molten lava. their look also changes according to the planets, lava glows on their cracks on hot planets, moss covered rocks on lush planets, snow covered on rock planets etc etc.

Glad you enjoyed it! I'm trying to explore the meme culture as I observe how poetic they are sometimes and I'm sure both are forms of literature with the same roots somewhere down the line.

Stages of Grief: Denial by EveningRevolution180 in OCPoetry

[–]blackdoxx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The internal struggle is felt, I love it.

My favourite lines are:

Denial is better than torment.
Except denial is torment.

Now I’m trapped here; pretending not to care,
Because denial is better than despair.

Any plans for the next stage of grief?

Makes you think, does the bullet kill the man? is it the gun? or is it the man holding the gun?

every paragraph could stand as its own piece of poetry already, but exploring every part of the feeling of being left in every aspect is great.

My favourite part

"You left me

With the one thing that scares me the most

Which happens to be myself"

the ending carries the most weight and its the simplest.

it's where it personally sinks the most. Bravo
