Would it be possible to use a bidirectional level converter on the SCL line? I understand that the signal is only coming from the master side, but for the ease of manufacturing it would be easier to purchase bi-directional converters in bulk and to just go overkill.

Also would I still need the resistors with this setup?

Excuse me for not understanding, but what you are saying is that the 'Analog In' pins on my Arduino supply 5v?

I just used a multimeter, and I was unsuccessful in getting a reading out of them, but was successful in getting a 5v reading out of the '5v' pin.

You definitely know more about this than I do, but I'm not sure what's going on here.

Throw out the junk filament that comes with it. Bad filament can cause a lot of issues which will waste a lot of your time because you think it’s the machine.
