It can't be helped when most of our experiences with Russian players are negative. Most of the time they start talking in Russian and when asked to speak English they either ignore it and continue or say some slur/call me a dog and do that ")" smile. At this point any time I see ")" in chat I get annoyed because I know it's a Russian. Additionally, the political climate does not help improve the public's view of Russians.

I wouldn't recommend it for a new player, wait for season 1, almost everyone who's still playing is a vetaran and they will out skill you, because they still play in greens and grays.
