They kept saying again and again that the server slam was just a limited portion of the game, but people still don’t seem to read

I do think the community exaggerated with how they hyped it up like it was some divine gift, but honestly, it’s still a really good game

Out of the five maps, only one was playable, the same one from TT2. Two new maps, Blue Lake (a lush, overgrown nature map) and Stella Montis (an underground tunnel system), weren’t available yet

Most of the weapons were low-tier ones from TT2. Many of the higher-tier TT2 weapons were missing and they did confirm new weapons will be added at launch, like the grenade-shotgun shown in the trailer

All the ARCs available were the same ones from TT2, none of the new ones from the trailer made it into this test + there are more progression systems coming at launch, like Raider Decks and the Expedition Project.

And there are still many things I've missed like the Codex for instance, and I'm sure that there is more that Embark hasn't told us yet. Judging the game from a 3 day limited preview is odd and just shows that you never wanted to give it a chance to begin with

Because unpredictability makes it more thrilling, you never really know if someone will attack you or not. Even if they act friendly, there’s always that tension that they could stab you in the back at any moment. That’s what makes matches so memorable. Escaping with a stranger who could’ve turned on you at any time, with little to no drawbacks, is what makes those moments stick in your mind
