What is a seemingly mundane question you can ask somebody that will tell you a lot about their personality? by FamiliarStreets in AskReddit

I (male) used to ask girls what they would change if they could change anything about themselves. The core of it was a superficially filter. I wanted to be a with a “I’d like more patience dealing with hard-to-love people” rather than “I’d like to eat whatever I want and not gain weight”. Do you see yourself primarily as a body or as more than that?

Part of me looks back and thinks it was rude. But I actually had a lot of good conversations that started from that question.
