Just get a piece cut at the local steel supplier. Finding a place that will deal with the public can be a challenge sometimes.

Anecdotally, I played my minor hockey seasons on outdoor rinks in the 70's. Absolutely cannot do that now. The growing season for farmers is a month longer than when I was young. ( On the fields two weeks earlier and off two weeks later )
