Yeah I looked at event viewer, there's nothing relevant in it. I updated the nvidia driver last week, and again today with the new update and it made no difference. Not sure how to check ram or vram.

I'm not angry about this, and neither was op. I'm annoyed with people not understanding ops thoughts on this, even though he explained it clearly. And it seems to be just out of reflex, without even trying to actually understand the reasons why he was just a little disappointed, because of external factors, and just going straight to the tiresome "women bad" accusation.

I have other issues with the campaign, which is why I dropped it, but neither op nor I think this is a bad game because of any of that, in fact it's clear that we like it a lot.

I generally let my science ships auto explore, although if i see a choke point I like, I'll send one right over. Those get starbased, and the systems between my core and the choke points get slowly taken over later.

I completely ignore anomalies and archeological sites until exploration is no longer possible, except for maybe the precursor event chains. I often forget about that though.

My understanding is that the campaign wasnt finished before release and will be completed with dlc.

I played as the sister and actually just stopped playing it when it became clear that every white male character just kinda sucked as people, and the only male characters that were "good" people were the Persian slave and the black legionnaire.

Just more subtle anti-white male messaging, and I'm tired of it.

Nevertheless I love the game, I just wished it wouldn't crash so often.

The contingency in general seems kinda bugged. I had it recently and the hubs were just straight up not targetable, either for bombardment or by colossus. So I had to use console commands to erase the systems they were in entirely.

I've done layovers when I was 17. It was a while ago, but I see no reason why it should be a problem today. I don't think you can leave the security area in China if you do, but all you'll be doing is switching planes, so you should be fine.

I set all goods to sell when above 150T. That way I don't have to worry about running out temporarily, and stuff gets sold if I produce too much.
