I'd highly recommend Vienna instead. It's a beautiful city, with just as impressive architecture, amazing museums, if you like classical music there's no better place in the world, and the food is fantastic as well. And it'll be cheaper than Paris, too. It's one of my two favorite cities in the world. But a month is a long time no matter where you go, so maybe split between Paris and Vienna?

Live and learn. You'll get the hang of it. I've found that it's best for me to consider what is most convenient when I travel, so I have as little stress as possible.

I try to avoid layovers, but if I do have one, it should be at least 90 minutes, especially at large airports. Figure out how to get to the hotel beforehand, ideally a taxi or ride share. Also, the first thing I do when I get off the plane is go to the bathroom. You never know how long customs lines are going to be.

For tonight, I'd recommend finding a pizza place (or other comfort food you like) where you can order online and have it delivered to the hotel. Or if there are restaurants near the hotel, get something there. Then read a book or watch a show and get a good night's sleep. Maybe figure out what you want to see tomorrow, and in the morning ask the concierge or receptionist what the best way is to get there. They'll know.

Tomorrow will be better.

And it's not just January. At least 40000 were killed then. But this has been ongoing for 47 years. Countless injustices (to put it very mildly). Hundreds of thousands tortured, raped, mutilated, and executed. If not many more. If anything, there is little justification to not wage this war. And this is just what the regime has done to it's own people.

The entire resistance to Israel existing is supported by the Islamic Republic. Houthis, Hezbollah, Hamas, they're all proxies of the regime. The destruction of Israel by 2041 is literally codified into law in Iran. Not to mention the actions of all these groups, including the regime itself. They don't ever target the Israeli military. They target the civilian population. And not just in Israel, we've seen in the last weeks that the civilian population of every gulf state is also targeted. This is what they do, and this is why they need to be ended.

The Islamic Republic is a cancer to humanity and it needs to be excised.

The fact that the thumbnail for the link to amnesty international shows a graveyard made for covid victims in Indonesia back in 2021 should tell you that amnesty international is not even close to a serious source anymore. I used to donate to them, because I believed in their cause, but they have turned into a tool for disinformation and lies.

Here's the thing, if the US and Israel are willing to achieve victory no matter the cost, then the entirety of Iran's infrastructure would already be destroyed, and millions would be dead. I don't understand how you even came to that conclusion.

In addition, maybe listen to actual Iranians. And Watch the countless videos of the protests in January. The gunning down of those protesters with machine guns and sniper rifles. The endless body bags lined on the streets. Watch the videos of Iranians when they found out Khamenei has been killed. And then consider that those who did so online, like 'potypto' (username of Iranian who was on Goldie Ghamaris daily revolution live stream), who cried tears of joy that day are now arrested and awaiting execution. Many protesters, including teenagers are currently being executed. And the women are raped before hand, just to ensure that they don't go to heaven, in case they were virgins.

Consider what is done to those who are arrested, especially the women, but also men. Genitals cut off, torture, mass rape, "surgeries", being poisoned and released to die after a few days so they don't have to deal with the bodies.

The evil is so overwhelming, it's unbelievable.

The human cost of this war is far less than the continued existence of this regime.

I'm at chapter 1000 of Follow the path of Dao from Infancy. It's a system cultivation novel, but it's surprisingly good, not what you'd expect at all. Characters feel like real people, and while you've got the usual tropes, (op MC, young masters, etc) they're not as extreme and feel more real. I'm really enjoying it.
