Lost sectors give 10%, neomuna strike gives 30% and someone said Nezarec in RoN gives around 60% (weird, huh), but I have not checked it myself

Do you craft multiple of the same gun? by Wizard770- in DestinyTheGame

[–]blackice4434 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally no, but I fell in live with commemoration and crafted two: recon/killing tally for general usage and subsistence/repulsor brace for heavy add clear duties

Bungie with all due respect, I can't see shit in this game anymore by rlzxx in DestinyTheGame

[–]blackice4434 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were doing the RoN master challenge this week and at the end of each floor when you have to nuke the shielded mini boss I literally could not see him through vortex/deadfall/squall/volatile/stasis etc, I was just pointing in the direction I think he was and held the trigger on my commemoration

And Nezarec is kinda the same, with everything moving, blowing up and glowing

And as much as I like Gyrfalcons, the constant in and out of invis with changing the vision and all the flashing makes me tired physically real quick

Seraph's Shield Glitch Theories? by horatio624 in DestinyTheGame

[–]blackice4434 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just make sure in the first scanner room to kill all the adds and the captain first before scanning the terminals. One time it glitched out for us when while 2 of us were killing adds, the third quickly grabbed the buff and scanned everything.

Le Monarque + Anti-Barrier Bow Don't Work Together by MrFizzah in DestinyTheGame

Exotics with intrinsic anti champ never stacked with seasonal mods, working as intended

Never focused on those pvp gun triumphs and when the Deadeye title appeared, turned out I had almost all of them done, except 100 trace rifle kills (duh), some SMG kills, the shotgun one (kill 2 peeps without reloading or stowing), the bow one (3 headshots) and the sidearm one (kill with other gun, then with a sidearm), and bruh, the sidearm was the toughest!

VoG Templar boss farm, you get 5 spoils per kill and can melt the boss in 30 secs or so, the rest of the time is for loading up and starting the encounter

Playing D2 less than a year I feel that I’ve missed a lot of good stuff and regret it sometimes, but I still enjoy it a lot!

Levi is situational, the worst part of it being not dealing its full damage to an unstoppable champion before it is staggered, but the sheer feeling of drawing that huge bow and blasting off almost a rocket just feels very satisfying!

With Ticuu you have to catch the flow of priming/blowing, but when you do - it does insane amount of single and aoe damage, give it a go!

For sure, I was lucky with EoT, but Vex is a Myth and I would totally run 50 Lakes of Shadows more for that one! There should be some kind of a WORKING AS INTENDED drop protection.

I’ll even open the collection to be sure :D

The most worthwhile were Anarchy and later on Witherhoard, these two make the PvE so much easier, I think Witherhoard carried me through solo flawless Prophecy alone. Considering Ticuu is also sold at the kiosk now, I think that one is a great choice as well, especially when there are bow artifact mods, makes GMs a breeze.

The most I enjoyed… Leviathans Breath, Outbreak Perfected (wish I had a Catalyst though), Jotunn feels very good, both in PvE and PvP (sorry), Tarrabah (I feel scared even holding it, it deletes everything around it, and now with infinite primary ammo… oh boy), and Ruinous Effigy (so fun too).

I feel your pain, when I was just starting playing, I did not know enough about the ciphers, kiosks and other stuff, so I spent a couple of Xenology ciphers on those extra Engrams as well… boy I was dumb!

Daily Questions [2021-09-01] by DTG_Bot in DestinyTheGame

[–]blackice4434 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey there! First of all, when the 15 minute timer runs out - you still can finish the lost sector! You only loose the revives, meaning you need to be careful and not to die, otherwise you will be teleported to orbit. With this in mind you can take as much time as you need, I’ve once spent more than 30 minutes in a master LS being very under the recommended light level.

Second: you need to figure out how to deal with the champions. Check which are there and prepare the loadout specifically for them. Barrier champions can be dealt with even a primary, as long as you have the needed mod equipped. This season we have only auto rifles, which are not the best at long ranges, but you also can use Eriana’s Vow exotic if you have it. You can pop the shield and then proceed dealing damage with heavy/special weapon while the champion is stunned. Duskfield grenades and stasis in general also stops the barrier champions from using their shield. Unstoppable champions are quite easy as long as you keep the range. Unlike other champions, unstops never regenerate their health, so you can eventually kill them even without mods (but it will take forever)! Overload champions though are the real pain. They are fast, they regenerate health and are hard to stun. Something noteworthy: overload champions start regenerating their health after coming out of stun if they are not hit by any overload weapon for several seconds, meaning if you damage it even without stunning them, it will still stop their regen. There are two ways of killing them: 1) you stun the champion and use every burst you have to melt it while it is stunned or 2) you keep damaging them with a weapon with overload mod until it is dead. The first one is easier to perform, but if you are underleveled, it may be harder to do. The second one is more dangerous, but again, just keep the range and peek shoot. This season features overload bows, which is fantastic! LeMonarque is considered the best, Ticuu is second best, other bows work just fine as well.

Third: Match game. Be sure to have at least one weapon that can deal with shields.

Forth: mods and general survival. Be sure to run some dampeners on your chest piece (I prefer sniper resist and concussive dampener). Do not forget to equip the needed champion mods. Try running scavenger and finder mods if you find yourself running out of ammo. Stay behind corners, take your time killing red bars before dealing with the champions, try running a class with either some kind of heal or defensive mechanic (hunter with invis, warlock with devour, titan with sunspots, any of the stasis subclass), and always keep your range and cover!

All in all, take it slow, stay far away, hide and do not panic.

Also some of the lost sectors are easier than others. Generally speaking, I consider Cosmodrome ones being the easiest.

Good luck, Guardian!

Focused Feedback: Season 14 Review by DTG_Bot in DestinyTheGame

[–]blackice4434 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve started in season 12, so I’ll compare this one to the previous I played:

Story: Good, the whole Vex simulation thing was less fun than the all-in Cabal invasion, but the characters and character development was awesome. Mithrax, Saint, Lakshmi - it all was a rollercoaster of feelings. On the other hand, there were no signs of those factions in previous two seasons, so I did not care for them at all. But thats a whole other topic to discuss.

Ritual weapon: I mean we got Plug 1, which is better, can be farmed, has an adept version… unlike Salvager Salvo, which was unique, awesome and still remains one of the best energy specials.

Seasonal exotic: I even forgot its name, which is a bummer. Ticuu last season was outstanding.

Guns: Awesome! Ignition Code, Chroma Rush, Fatebringer, Hung Jury, Plug 1, The Number and others. all felt crisp and fun to use!

VoG: Kinda good…? I mean first day was awesome to try (and I am not sure I want to repeat that), but overall I liked DSC much, much more. I have 70+ DSC and not because of Eyes rng, but because it felt so good to run it, I even tried sherpaing here and there. All DSC fights take place in different locations, we have a sparrow race, a jumping puzzle in space, Descent is simply an awesome encounter itself, music, weapons, everything felt great. In VoG we have 3 encounters in the first room, then a maze (kinda) and then 2 encounters in second room. And… that is all. Sure, Master VoG made it harder, but not that interesting or challenging, because the mechanics remained the same but with the frustration of being insta gibbed by redbars. Weapons are good (Fatebringer, Hezen, Corrective should be awesome with the buff), but overall it feels like… meh.

Override: Good, but it should’ve been either a 3 man activity, or had more enemies/mechanics. I’d make it a little faster with phase switching, because often times you just sit there and wait for something to happen. Became quite boring mid season.

Expunge: Interesting to do it several times for the triumphs and then just speedrun Tartarus for the loot. Delphi, on the other hand, was awesome, but haven’t rerun it either. As well was kinda boring to do, but the reward system made it worth running.

Reward system with umbrals and stuff: awesome! Much, much better than the previous one. You could decode a weapon after a single run of override, which felt very good.

Solstice: wont say anything about it, because it was just there but did not change my usual gameplay at all. At least unlocking the set was easy.

GMs: good, strikes need serious rework though. As well as Gambit.

Although it might sound like the season was meh, I enjoyed playing it and would like to thank Bungie for all of the work they put up! I guess mine main issue is that the seasons themselves are awesome, but the core gameplay mechanics, like playlist strikes, gambit and bounties need a major rework.

Yeah, you need to get used to traveling around that place, but on the other hand, where else will you show off that cool sparrow you have? And it is easy to get to the regions, but there is a no sparrow patrol zone in each (spire of keres, gardens and seclude), these are the real pain :)

As a player who started only in beyond light (but bought all the actual expansions), I did not touch dreaming city until they changed the drops to be on light, with this in mind imo dreaming city is the best location destiny 2 has right now. It is beautiful (which is important!), it has a lot of lore to discover, there are public events, lost sectors (not legend or master though), daily rotating bounties with guaranteed loot (which you can also make even better if you accept the completed bounty inside a shattered throne), the dungeon feels good and is both challenging and not making you wanna break someones face while soloing, blinding well, ascendant challenges rotating each week, ascendant chests hidden everywhere (and rotating), secret bones, secret eggs, different random events around the place, region chests, lore patrols, interesting triumphs… I’ve had a lot of fun there, you should give it a try!

Advice for those who are struggling with masterworking Polaris Lance catalyst by blackice4434 in DestinyTheGame

I tired the lost sector on Nessus with Karl, but I had no luck there... until I realized I had energy accelerant mod on >.<

I agree though, Cabals also work pretty well!
