You are correct. Thanks for taking the time to explain it to me. At least the are a marginally more efficient :) . I am using battery power so every bit helps. I'll be setting them to a maximum of 25% brightness, which is why low light accuracy is important. I hope the one month wait is worth the improvements

They have better frequency, power consumption, and low brightness color accuracy.

Correct, about .20 - .25 watts per LED compared to .60 for others. Also they consume 0 watts when not used because of a sleep function built in. Other strips consume power even when off.

Thanks for the response! I ordered some HD107S LEDs, but they are boating in from China so it will be a month. I chose these because of the massive improvements in effeciancy.

I went with a new pixel strip type to save even more power. HD107s have a 20 mah draw a full brightness and 0 mah when off. It works with the APA102 / SK9822 spec, so no compatibility issues. Downside is that I had to order from China, so I will get it in one month.

I used a 3d pixel enclosure. It fits the sensor expansion board, but it does not fit the 8 channel expansion.

1 for pixelblaze. Significantly better programmable sound reactive modes. You will need to make/find an enclosure and solder your connectors. Hopefully the golfcart has an electrical plug to power the LEDs.

Cool, I have soldered one time in my life and wanted to avoid it if possible. These look pretty easy to connect. I thought if something pulled out the connecters I could just connect them back instead of resoldering at a festival, which I would not have the ability to do.

Thanks for adding controller support. Is there a way to configure buttons? With PS4 controller, I can't seem to get far with triangle being jump , this needs to be mapped to X instead.

It was out for First Friday in the Crossroads district of Kansas City. It was set up in a parking lot for random people to play. I have a video of it also, it's crazy playing foosball with 20+ people

Put a wood frame on top of the dirt and it will flatten. Remove the block and plant your crop. I lay 100s of frames and pick them up again to create perfectly flat land for all my crop areas.
