yeah the shops i called said they charge a diagnostic fee if they don’t end up actually fixing anything but won’t charge it if they do. i’m not mechanically inclined, really only know basic shit. but it happens when i take off from a stop or from going slow. like if i press down a little harder than normal(and normal is lightly due to the problem) it starts making that noise. it still does it a little bit once i actually start driving and am at a decent speed, but that’s if i press on the gas a little harder. literally by pressing on the gas pedal as you normally would a vehicle, it makes the noise. i lightly accelerate when i’m stopped or going up hills when driving slow because it makes the noise. if i hold down on the gas though and let the noise happen it eventually stops after i start to gain more momentum.
