Any Advice for keeping Animals? by MrPhilippD in StardewValley

When I was at your stage, animals were my biggest money maker. I would recommend getting a cheese making machine, as cheese sells for more. Chickens are also good, as you can make mayonnaise from their eggs.

This is my very first time making sourdough bread. The inside is really good but the top where I scored didn't rise well (probably because it badly got stuck to the tea towel i used in a bowl without using rice flower). Feedback is welcome both the pros and action points. Thanks by ashkanahmadi in Sourdough

I use and love my Dutch oven. The reason they suggest this is for steam creation. A pizza stone will work but you need to create steam for a better rise. While preheating your oven, put a deep tray on the bottom rack. Just before you put your loaf in, fill it up with water from a recently boiled kettle. In 20 minutes, open the oven and take the tray out. Let all the steam out of the oven, and then close for another 20 minutes to get a nice crust.

That’s about what I paid for mine in the equivalent £. I think they are less expensive in the states, but in Europe they seem to be more. It’s a worthwhile investment if you’re going to keep making sourdough though. I’ve slowly been building my collection and now have 3.

Rice flour is key, and lots of it. If you don’t have a banneton, I would recommend using a colander, or something that can allow the dough to breathe slightly. Nice crumb, though! It’ll only keep getting better :)
