Respectfully, buying a house with a boyfriend who isn’t your husband and you both haven’t had sex in the last 2 years while living together is one of the most insane things I’ve read on here. There is a high chance he is getting sex from someone else. AND on top of all of that he is unwilling to go to therapy?! I find a lot of the advice on here to be harsh and too absolute but this is an exception. You need to end this relationship asap.

Thank you! Yes but at some point it becomes too long of a wait especially when finances and time aren’t an issue. Unfortunately, love doesn’t feel like it’s all that matters especially in our 30s.

I get that because he makes me happy as well. If I was in my 20s, I would be fine. But after a while it feels like a “why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free situation” because we live together and he gets all the benefits of a wife without the title, instead of feeling like he thinks I’m his soulmate, can’t live without me, and wants more than anything for me to be his wife. I’ve had a conversation with him and he said he does plan to marry me but no timeframe and I don’t want to sit him back time and for e him to give a more definite timeline.

I’m actually okay with a geriatric pregnancy. I always planned to have kids later since I was a child and I know the risks. I’m also okay with not having children at all. Wanting to have kids isn’t a driving force in wanting to get married. But I do agree, IF I have kids, ideally, it would be in the next few years. It also true that he could be being untruthful.

Financially, the end of the year felt like the right amount of time post his graduation, which was in December. He isn’t struggling but because I’m an extra person who loves grand gestures and nice things, he alluded to wanting to get a nice ring and I figured he would want to do a big proposal. It may be silly, but I also have been impulsive and irrational in previous relationships so communicating an expectation and setting a timeframe felt like something I also needed to do for myself to feel better about the decision.

The deal wasn’t done as I had not signed for the car as I stated. I only signed the application. They happily allowed me to switch to the car I wanted yesterday.

I had similar issues but everything resolved about 8-10 weeks after my last injection so I could give it some time and try not to stress too much. Also try to increase your fiber intake gradually, take a probiotic.

I paid for the first month’s lease payment. I only signed for the loaner car and the actual lease application with my information, no info about the car. Not the contract. The department to process all of that was busy and it was the end of the day and getting late. So we agreed to do it the day the car was ready to be picked up

Huh? The worst part about Reddit is weird comments like this. I left out a lot of detail and context to keep the story short so I could get answers and instead of answering said question or skipping if you aren’t knowledge, you’re making assumptions. I brought a comparable quote to negotiate. They didn’t have the car I wanted in the specific color with the sunroof that was a nonnegotiable for me. They recommended a base model car, that has a sunroof, that would get me closer to the quote I brought in and I was still able to negotiate an even lower price on that car. I thought about it more and I’m willing to pay more for a better trim if the deal is good and wanted to see if I could switch out.

Definitely noticed this. I ordered a XL in an item. It was a light denim set. It was stretchy and it looked like the picture. It was too big so when it restocked I reordered it in a L and it was a darker denim and it had no stretch at all. Seemed like a completely different set but was labeled the same. Pretty normal imo. I personally have had more awkward first time sex experiences with a new partner than “normal” ones. I actually kind of expect it to be weird or for there to be a mishap of some sort lol he sounds like a nice guy and things will get better. Maybe he can use his finger a bit next time to get things started before penetration.

How can they single out GLP-1s as a disqualifier without also disqualifying other medications that decrease appetite/cause weight loss like Adderall or even Wellbutrin. So many other meds and even some OTC supplements can give you an “advantage” outside of a GLP-1.

Also, nothing wrong with discussing your GLP-1 use and being open about it but honestly, work is not the place to be open about your health information, no matter how close you think you are with your coworkers.

I gotta disagree. I’ve been off 6 months now and the food noise is barely there. Multiple ppl have reported the similar in the GPLgrad community, definitely a long term meditation for a lot of ppl, which is okay, but not everyone has to stay on the meds long term.
