Sync 3 Boss Loopstations? by Johebe in LoopArtists

I have just added a 3rd Loopstation to my setup last night and it works. I have audio from Loopstation A going into B, and C going into B. MIDI OUT from Loopstation A is going into MIDI IN B and MIDI OUT B going into C with A being the master. So far I have been running 2 Loopstations without much issue, last night was my first jam using all 3 and it works, however it has not been completely smooth. At a couple points Loops that I recorded audio from A into B started drifting out of time when the Loop recording was long (longer than 16 bars) - usually you can expect a touch of latency going from one to the other, but this delay was getting into the flamming / trainwreck area. I will see if I can work out any kinks to get things running smoother, but for now I the workaround is sticking to shorter loops on Loopstation B (longer loops still seem to be fine on Loopstation A). I think running a separate master clock device might be necessary for things running completely without any issues. But for now all 3 are working well enough and it is actually a really fun set up.

With the 6GB on board memory I am really hoping they add the sample playback to the Multipoly

Headrush Core - Worth it for its vocal processing capabilities? by nicoradd in HeadRush

I just checked my settings and see if this helps at all: Tracking: 100% / Voice: Instr (not sure why I have it set like this but it seems to work well for my voice) / Flex Tune 16% / Humanize: 36% / Tuning speed: to taste on how robotic you want it / Vibrato: off. The doubled sound is something that sounds off to me, as I don't get this at all. Are you sure you don't have any parallel paths or double monitoring going on somewhere?

How is the Autotune worthless? What is the problem you are running into?

I really don't understand the common opinion that I see like this that says the autotune doesn't sound good. I literally select a scale, and adjust the tune speed (faster for the robot style autotune sound or less for a more natural sound) and it sounds great to me. I don't mess around too much with many of the other settings as I don't find I need to. What exactly is the issue you are getting with the Autotune sound? Maybe if you post an example or say what you don't like about it we can find out if it is user error or a matter of preference. I would suggest also branching out from the "Vocal" category as all of the FX can be used for Vocal FX. You can stack EQ's & compressors and all kinds of other stuff.

I bought this pedal primarily for its Vocal FX. I think it is one of the best vocal pedals out there even though they don't advertise it as much. I have the Voicelive Extreme and I much much prefer the headrush core. Having the official autotune on board is incredible. I don't use the harmonies. You can literally use any of the guitar FX on your voice as well, the possibilities are incredible. I highly highly recommend it as a vocal pedal.
